For the last almost year, I had a weird skin rash that was spreading. Red, itchy, flakey, textured. I finally went to a dermatologist who asked me if I was using any whitening toothpastes. I eventually switched this this toothpaste because it had to whitening or fluoride. MY SKIN STARTED HEALING WITHIN A FEW DAYS. amazing.

Ouch! This burns my mouth. The only rapid relief was when I finished and rinsed it out of my mouth with cold water. I will not be using this again.

I thought this was supposed to be "Fresh Mint." I can't even describe the flavor, or the lack thereof. Words like "chalk, dust, sand," or the contents of a vacuum cleaner bag come to mind. I saw one review saying the "mint" was too overpowering for them. There is NO mint flavor at all here! And I've used Tom's toothpaste exclusively for about 20 years, just not this particular formulation.

Cleans well, but taste is horrible. I’ve used natural toothpaste for years, but need something for sensitive teeth after a crown. I’m pregnant, and the taste of this makes me gag. I’ve tried Tom’s in the past and didn’t love the taste, but I read the reviews and thought I would give this one a try. Nope, can’t do it.

I purchased Tom's of Maine Fluoride-Free Rapid Relief Sensitive Toothpaste on 6/18/24 (yesterday). I attempted to use the toothpaste yesterday around 8 pm. I use the word attempted because the FRESH MINT - or another of the ingredients - was so incredibly strong, it was like I was brushing my teeth with hot sauce. My entire mouth and throat reacted immediately and started burning so badly that I could not finalize brushing my teeth. Instead, I spit the toothpaste out and started rinsing and gargling with cold water. Warm water only made the sting in my mouth and throat much worse. Normally, I don't write reviews about products purchased at local stores; however, even now - 18 hours later - my throat still feels scorched and I'm constantly drinking cold water to alleviate the issue.

I tried the “leading brand” for several months when my teeth started developing a sensitivity to hot and cold, without much relief. When I used up the tube, I decided to try this Tom’s version and it actually helps. So glad there is a solution cheaper than a root canal. I wish it also came with fluoride, but maybe the fluoride makes it too abrasive?

I have an Amazing Auto subscription for this the Rapid Relief Toms and its awesome! The best toothpaste ever! I use to have very sensitive teeth when drinking cold water or hot tea but since this tooth paste they're not sensitive anymore. I did develop a cavity when I was abroad so I wasn't able to see a dentist. I was able to pick the plack out with a dentist pick and and smothered the cavity with this tooth paste for a couple days straight. When I got home I went and checked in with the dentist no cavity! I have not had a cavity since! I absolutely love this tooth paste and would cry if they ever decided not to make it! Thank you Toms! You're the best!!!

First, this toothpaste works as formulated. Sensitivity definitely reduced after use. Second, why in the world would so many reviews request fluoride in this toothpaste? Fluoride is NOT good for humans. What happens when there is a fluorine/fluoride spill? It's a HAZMAT issue. People need to stop listening to the mockingbird media about Fluoride and many other topics [cough, cough], do research for themselves, and think for themselves. We love that this formula is fluoride free. Thanks to the mfg for making this product.

I have been only using Tom's toothpaste for a long while. My hygienist gave me a sample of this and it works. Just wish there was a fluoridated one. Looks like there used to be?? But not sure why there isn't anymore.
