Pretty Bad Covers
Not the music from the original movie. Ariel’s voice is good, but Pour Unfortunate Souls is criminally bad compared to the original. Kiss the Girl is very meh as well.

Not very loud/Hard to hear
I think the concept is amazing. I am not sure if mine is defective or if the volume is just not good. You can barely hear it. I am going to buy another character to see if its the mermaid or the box itself before I decide if I actually feel like I wasted my money.

Not the real voices
The voices in both the songs and the story are not the same as the movie. Noticeable right away. Pretty disappointing. The sea witch’s voice is not even close. The song is actually horrible 😂🤦🏼♀️ I will keep them, but it’s disappointing I spent so much money on it and it is not even the Disney characters.

Birthday Present for my 3rd year old
Saw it at the store and had to buy it for my daughter’s 3rd birthday. Songs were great. Took a star off for the Tonie design. Eyes and mouth looked a little weird. Wished Tonies were a little cheaper..

Little Mermaid Tonie
Overall was a good purchase! It’s not the original Little Mermaid voices, but Ariel’s is definitely close enough! Ursula’s on the other hand is nowhere close..My daughter doesn’t care for Ursula so it’s not as big of a deal as it would’ve been for Ariel! I love the glitter(that does come off) detail on Ariel’s tail!

Remake
Very pretty but other than that it’s a complete disappointment. Ariel sounds close to the original but Ursula is absolutely awful. I also do not like how they told the story. The end was a big dramatic to label this as 3+ I would not recommend this for that age range and will be shutting off early which is disappointing because my daughter loves to fall asleep to the stories.

SO DISAPPOINTING
The (four) songs are NOT the originals from the movie, the voices are different. Whoever sings the Ursula song doesn't even sing it in the original tempo/tones. My 3 year old heard it and asked who it was!!! We are disappointed!
