Q: Is this game on a physical cartridge or is it just a code on a piece of paper?

A: Unfortunately, it is just a game code in the box. There is no physical cartridge. If you look at the product image, it has a small white box near the bottom left that states full game download, no game card. This further proves it is just a download code on a piece of paper for you to download on the eshop. Convenient for kids who want to buy the game with their birthday money or those without credit/debit cards but less relevant to anyone who normally buys and downloads on the eshop.

Q: You say it's a physical game but the cover clearly says "game card not included." It is a download. If you want a physical game this is not it!

Just so we're clear this game is everything I wanted it to be especially on the switch too it runs like a dream and looks great. That being said all these babies complaining about no cartridge already knew there was no cartridge and just want a boycott because it's the trendy thing to do. Ruining the Integrity of reviews, get over it, and just enjoy the fact that there are still physical cases and that these will be worth money whether they have cartridges or codes. Oh and it's only $50. This could have easily been a $70 game. Wahhhhhh no cartridge wahhhh

I ordered the physical copy so I could have an actual game cartridge, but in reality it's just a case with a download code inside. If the description stated this I would've just downloaded from the console.
