A: This is dependent upon the color seat option selected. The Charcoal is a dark gray option, the brown is a leather dark brown color, and the wheat is a lighter brown color.

Q: Can you spray the seat with scotchguard? Worried about it getting dirty and not being able to get the seat cleaned.

Poor quality
Ordered 4. Only put one together. The base joints were not flush/secure and made the entire stool flex and lean when getting on and off. You can see the unstained wood at all the joints in the pics. Those are all gaps. Looked like it would break quickly. Returned. Unfortunate, because the stool seat seemed plush and comfortable and the swivel was smooth.

Well-made, very comfortable - hard to find this combination of features for a good price
I bought this chair in the wheat color and I consider it a well-made product. The color is neutral enough to fit in a kitchen with multiple colors, the construction of the product is solid, the swivel feature was exactly what I wanted, and the well-filled cushioning in the chair makes it very comfortable. Many chairs have little or no padding in the seat and/or they don't swivel, so this combination was perfect. I also discovered that they were smart enough to color match the legs with a thin piece of metal over the single wood foot rest (the other 3 "wooden horizontal "bars" do not have this), but you can't even tell it is there. It will help the chair to last longer with kids stepping on it and kicking it over the years. Overall, a good find on Target. I hope they keep it in stock in case I decide to add 2 more chairs to the bar-height counter in my kitchen.

Damaged on arrival.
Although the leather is nice and I like the style, everyone of my four chairs had damage to the paint. The last one had chunks taken out due to it being dropped. I am returning that one and filling the scars in on the others. Disappointed in the quality, despite the ease of assembosnd quick delivery.
