Picked the wallpaper because it looked like it would have a texture to it. It does not. However, the texture is more of a 3 d effect. It really pops even though it's black. I love it. It stuck to the wall better than any peel stick wallpaper I have used. It really makes the wall pop! Looks amazing. On a sidenote, there were some white specs on the black wall paper, which I don't know what they were but they did not come off. Overall, I do recommend it
