About the Author
J. Eric Gentry, PhD, LMHC, is an internationally recognized leader in the study, training and treatment of traumatic stress and compassion fatigue and has trained thousands of professionals to more effectively treat traumatic stress. Dr. Gentry is the author of three books, numerous chapters, papers, and peer-reviewed journal articles in the areas of traumatic stress and compassion fatigue.
Patrick Powell, EdD, LMHC, LPC, NCC, is a practitioner, counselor educator, and a researcher. He currently teaches mental health counseling and counselor education at Argosy University.
Mike Dubi, EdD, LMHC, NCC, is an international speaker and recognized expert on traumatic stress, with a career in psychotherapy spanning 45 years. He is a Diplomate and board-certified expert in traumatic stress, and also co-founder of the International Association of Trauma Professionals, where he serves as president.
