It does not work in the UK. All the outlets I encountered on my trip needed three plugs, but this adapter only has two. You cannot use an outlet in the UK without the grounding plug, which is what is missing from this adapter.

Worked perfect for my 2 week trip to Italy. I was very gentle with it, didn’t force it/pull hard in any outlets and unplugged it whenever I wasn’t using it. I only used it for my phone charger and flat iron. Worked in all different outlets and on the trains!

Great price but when I used it in the U.K. it was very difficult , when I would put the adapter in the outlet it would retract back inside. Very disappointed had to borrow the adapter at the hotel for a cost.

I realized just before we were to leave for UK and Europe that our son, who no longer lives with us, has the one multi-country adapter we had and we did not have an adpater for the UK. Our local Target had one in stock so I was able to pick it up that evening. We were able to use it in both London and Budapest. Adapter worked fine.
