The main picture should reflect the product. This package of leeks has no greens, which is what I was looking for. The quality is good, but Target needs to update the photo

Not sure if this is an issue with the product itself but mine were already bad when I got them in a pickup order. I cleaned off the slime and was able to use one of the leeks in the package to make a great soup, so all was not lost!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is probably one of the best packages of leeks I have ever purchased. This is a two pack of leaks, already trimmed up from Sabor farms. There are so many ways to prepare leeks, my family and I prefer to roast in the oven, then add some seasonings and Parmesan cheese. These are yummy as a side dish or even a snack. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The leeks had a pleasant aroma you could smell as soon as you opened the package. The produce was very fresh and was easy to chop for cooking. I like that there were a couple of stalks sold together, the quantity was a good amount. The produce stayed fresh a couple of days in the refrigerator before I was ready to use it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little disappointed that there was so much dirt in these just because it’s a bagged vegetable and I feel like if it’s going to be in a bag it should be pre-washed. Otherwise just keep it loose. It was a little dry on the ends, but once cut, it was fresh on the inside. I’m going to use these for a potato dish tonight. I received an incentive to write this review.

They are very pretty in color and look very fresh. They were not bitter and just how they should be. I might even try freezing the soup. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These leeks are very clean. They were very easy to prep. Very fresh and a bright green color. I'm going to use them in leek and potato soup. At my store they were located on the top shelf but very easy to find. I think they are on the expensive side.

These were fresh and tasted great. They don’t look like the pic exactly, but you are supposed to cut off most of the green part anyways before using them, so they are pre-prepped which is great.

I recently bought leeks from Target, and as mentioned in another review they didn’t look like the picture here. The leeks did not include the green top, but just the white to light green section. I was a little disappointed by this, but they ended up tasting really good in some leek soup I made.

What’s pictured is not what the product is that I received. I received a cellophane-package of two leeks with zero green. Only white stems. Also, the Best By date is 3 days from now. Leeks would last much longer.
