Q: The remote discharges the battery 2 days after replacement, not used. It does not shut down automatically. I have tried holding down the camera button to shut off, no help. Frustrated. Next steps?

Purchased this as a gift last Christmas for my wife. We had been looking for a convenient way to take family pics with kids and grandkids, as well as use it on a family trip to Ireland. As a selfie stick alone it seems to work fine. Not sure how effective the stablaizer is, but the selfie feature works fine. However, I was most interested in the bluetooth remote. With babies in the picture, being able to quickly snap several shots is critical. The remote is an absolute joke. I'd would put a new battery in and it would work for a day. Then a few days later the remote would not work. I tried three different batteries ($15 spent) and the same thing happended every time. And the small electronics board would fall out of the casing when I would change the battery. Bottom line - the remote has never worked properly. So if you want a remote - do not buy this selfie stick. And as a simple selfie stick, there are hundreds of other options out there that are much cheaper. I used it in Ireland and it became kind of a running joke. Very disappointing becuse of the flimsy, poory constructed remote.

The minute I tried to deploy the legs on the tripod, one snapped right off. Broke out of the box within 1 minute. I'd had one like this before that I was able to buy in-store that was much cheaper, a fraction of the cost, that held up to the rigors of having its moving parts handled gently. With the amount of force I exerted on it, I fear it would have snapped off under its own weight. What's worse? Target won't let me return this. Sigh. If you insist on purchasing this product, make sure you order some model airplane glue to go with it. Me? Never again.

The Bluetooth remote battery does not last. I am in Thailand and have had to replace the battery twice already for the Bluetooth remote twice and have only used it once. I made sure to turn the remote off the first time I changed the battery thinking that's why it went dead the first time. Nope, went to check before going on another excursion and the remote battery is dead again. I purchased this tripod on sale but I am spending more money while out of the U.S. to replace the batteries and had to purchase a pocket size tool set to open the remote. I would not recommend this product and I will be returning it when I get back to the U.S.

really nice at stabilizing the phone for stuff like vlogging or photos, though, since I use it for vlogging, I noticed the battery isn't the best, it'll last like 2 hours max on a full charge, sometimes longer, so I just have two incase one runs out of battery, tripod works, but could be sturdier, as well as it only extends to 20 inches or so, so that could be better as well

The stand folds up very small and the whole thing feels sturdy. It can be hard to put the remote clicker back together once it's unscrewed though.

I absolutely love the Heyday tripod selfie stick! It’s so great that you’re able to use it as a selfie stick by holding it in your hand or also to leave it sitting on any surface! That’s really helpful when you want to take pictures or videos and you’re not able to hold the phone or need time to process what you’re doing! It’s really durable and helpful for many situations when my kids are doing things.

I love this tripod! It’s lightweight and easy to use. It comes with everything you need to document your adventures on the go. I can’t wait to take pictures at the lake! I definitely recommend and will be buying a couple as gifts. It took less than 5 minutes to set up and start making memories.

This tripod for selfies or taking pictures is a good quality compared to others I have seen. This provides a sturdy base and the part that holds your phone is expandable to fit your case or different size phones. I like that it can be charged via usb cable too.

This is a pretty cool little selfie stick, once you get it figured out. I love that it has a tripod on the bottom, so it can stand up for easier photo taking. It took me a few to figure out the remote, and it is super tiny but easily hidden for taking group photos. I also love that the selfie stick folds up nice and compact so it can fit in your bag or purse. It’s excellent for traveling with!

Okay, first of all I love how compact and easy this tripod is. I get nervous if anything can hold my iPhone promax! We love that we can now film every day all day if we want to with such ease. The functions this has to take photos with a push, 270 degree rotation, BLUETOOTH remote! Has a charging cable and 3 hours of rechargeable battery!

This is a pretty good self stick. It comes in a compact size and has a telescopic pole that extends a good amount. The clasp that holds the phone is sturdy and can fit my phone with the case still on. It has a firm grip and can be folded down to a compact shape. The base even has a tripod so you can set it up and use it with a timer. The overall construction is pretty good and I like that I can get better photos with the extended vantage point.

This seflie stick is my favorite one. This alse sets up as a tripod. I can set itup at different angles, which makes taking videos and photos very easy. It also comes with instruction guide and remote. It is very versatile and secure. The grip is really great and set up quick and easy.

I love this heyday selfie stick. I like that you can use it two different ways holding it or standing up it by pulling the legs apart. It was easy to put my phone in the holder. The directions are not that clear but it is easy to figure out after playing around with it. I like the fact that you can move your phone in any direction without having to take the phone out and reposition it. When you’re done using it folds very small for easy storage. I definitely recommend this heyday selfie stick.

This is a good product for those who want to record their moments with an ok tripod with few negatives. First when pressing the power button on the phone holder that indicates the green light, it’s annoying to press down the button when you’re trying to turn on/off natural stability mode. Second is the 270 degree auto switch from horizontal to vertical. It would be better full 360 and wish there was an action button to switch to horizontal and vertical. Overall, not a bad product if this is for their personal use.

This is a great tripod! I’m very shaky, which always makes my pictures come out blurry. This tripod not only has a remote (huge plus) but the ability to stabilize your phone is a game changer! This is great as a selfie stick, tripod and stabilizer!
