Description
Ideal for your home, office workstation, or network requiring AC line protection, the Protect It! 7-Outlet Surge Protector from Tripp Lite® by Eaton® features a surge suppression rating of 2,160 Joules to defend your sensitive electronic components against even the strongest surges and spikes. Your devices plug into 7 NEMA 5-15R outlets. 2 outlets are mounted on the side to allow connection of 3 bulky transformers without blocking adjacent outlets. An integrated 15-amp circuit breaker protects all outlets and shuts down connected equipment in case of overload. The on/off switch provides 1-touch control over connected equipment. Diagnostic LEDs confirm grounding and protection status. The 7-ft. AC power cord allows the surge protector strip to reach nearby outlets, while its right-angle NEMA 5-15P plug allows furniture and equipment to be placed flush against the wall to save space in your workstation. Keyhole slots incorporated into the bottom panel provide convenient wall or desk mounting options for the plastic housing._

Great for under a desk
Using this to protect my monitors and desktop. Mounts perfectly under a desk and the side outlets are phenomenal for bigger power bricks. 10/10, just wish it also came with the option for left vs right angled plugs.

Great peace of mind

I would buy this product again.
I use this product with my lap top that is quickly running out of battery. I especially like the long cord that enables me to move around as needed. The product is heavy duty for a lite product but that is relative to the products that have a lot more to offer.

I like the warranty.
I like the warranty. I've never had one of their surge protectors fail yet. Would have liked an USB outlet added.

Great Surge Protector at a Great Value!!
This 7-Outlet Surge Protector worked perfectly directly out of the box and I consider it a very good value with the 2160 joules of protection. The diagnostic LED's make it easy to quickly see if the Surge Protector is working correctly. I placed my GE refrigerator on this surge protector, as this refrigerator's primary control board (brains of the refrigerator) costs over $200. I mounted this surge protector on the wall directly behind the refrigerator, as it has four mounting holes to do this easily. Another cheaper surge protector, that I had previously purchased, had a reversal of the hot and neutral in all the outlets!!

Great surge protector
I live in FL USA. There is lots of lightening around here during the rainy season. I purchased this product because the insurance agreement covers UPS-es, unlike my previous CP surge protection product. It continues to perform perfectly after a few weeks of use during this rainy season.

So far great! The product looks ancient, which is honestly reassuring. I appreciate the 3 outlets that can house brick transformers, but due to their placement the entire thing becomes bulky.
