Description
The Tripp Lite® by Eaton® Protect It!® 4-Outlet Surge Protector Strip offers economical AC surge suppression for protection of workstations, desktop PCs, telecom systems, and other sensitive electronics. Built-in AC surge suppression shields connected equipment from damage and performance problems due to transient surges. TLP404 offers 4 total outlets, a 4-ft. (1.22 m) cord, and diagnostic LED to warn of suppressor damage. AC suppression is rated at 450 Joules and shields equipment from surges and line noise. An attractive light gray suppressor housing with keyhole mounting tabs and 1 designated transformer plug outlet offers convenient protection of desktop computer equipment and accessories.

So far so good
If lightning hits my house & this protects my appliances, all will be good. That may take years though.....it's a surge protector folks, not a trip to Disneyland.

ONly Brand I use
Have always used Tripp-Lite very well made , secure connections ,always managed to protect from power surge several times over. They finally failed due to direct lighting strike. After years of use I would say all of the company units are worth the price. They stand by their products Customer Service was understanding and just plain GREAT!

Well Made Surge Protector
I needed to replace two VERY old 6 outlet SP's made of metal(from the 1970's)I only needed 4 outlets on each.These were well made with the GREEN protected light.there lightweight with wall mount holes on the back
