The Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Hair Growth Oil was specially formulated to support healthy hair growth. Made with 100% natural and effective ingredients that are high in Omega fatty acids, Vitamin E & Minerals, Neem Oil (rich in antioxidant)s, Aloe Vera (rich in vitamins A & C). These ingredients have been proven to help strengthen, nourish, & moisturize the hair follicles in order to prevent hair breakage, thinning and excess hair loss. USE & INSTRUCTIONS: Hair Conditioner: Apply a small amount of the Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Hair Growth Oil to the scalp. Gently massage from root to tip of hair three times per week, before bed.
Hot Oil Treatment: Apply the Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Hair Growth Oil to the scalp, cover with plastic cap, sit under hair dryer for 30 minutes, then thoroughly shampoo hair with the Tropic Isle Living Jamaican Black Castor Oil Shampoo.

I'm disappointed that the product I received is not the one advertised. The bottle says "new look" so I'm thinking they changed the formulation as well because it is filled with essential oils and the smells is really strong. I have sensitive skin and bad allergies so I was looking for something more natural that didn't have a strong scent.

This product works well with keeping my sons hair moisturize. We apply it as a sealant to the ends of his hair after a wash and moisturize. The smell is nice and subtle. I noticed my hair was shedding so much in the shower & that made me really nervous because who wouldn't freak out? I was told that shedding after getting covid was a thing. I wanted to take action and really do something to prevent more shedding. I bought vitamins but wanted to try something more natural so bought this oil instead. I was oiling and scalp brushing my hair with this as well as massaging my fingers through my hair for about 10 min a week before a shower. My baby hairs above my forhead are growing like crazy. My hair feels thicker and I no longer shed so much. I am so happy with this product I am so amazed it works. I would say give it 4 weeks to see results.

I've used plain thick castor oil from a dropper bottle for my hair before, so this applicator bottle was wayyyyy easier and less messy. Plus this formula is thinner so it spread really well. The smell is very herbal and reminds me of a spa, but definitely read the ingredients because it might not be for everyone. I didn't know what to expect because of the reviews, but I loved it and it made the shower smell good when I washed it out. I used shampoo twice and then conditioner and my hair is smooth and shiny, with a healthy scalp for the winter!

I’ve used my fair share of oil treatments, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this one for anyone with fine hair like mine. I shampooed twice when washing the oil out of my hair but once dried it looked and felt just as oily as it did before shampooing…yuck. I’m also not a fan of the smell, which is very strong and very much like bug spray even after washing.

Unfortunately, I have to take it back. The ingredients listed here were not the same as the product I received. It includes A LOT of essential oils (see pic), which normally is fine. But they all combine to small like the natural bug sprays I use. No thanks.

This brought back my edges!! Cnnt say how thankful I am to have found this after damaging my edges and noticed them gone! i went into panic mode knowing to use essential oil to help with regrown hair and not wanting to buy all of them one by one I found this which has all the needed oils in it! I can't comment on how well this product performs because I just bought it but I was so disappointed to see that this contains essential oils. I have an extremely sensitive scalp and most things irritate it, especially fragrance. I bought this because of the great review, I just wish there was a fragrance free version.

Ok! I found out about this little hidden secret for damage hair at my dermatologist appointment. They mentioned this product in the magazine at the office....I ordered this, the original as well as the extra dark! I must say as soon as I put this growth oil on my scalp I immediately started feeling the tingling! This is my new hair product for life!
