Q: Is this mattress protector washable?

submitted by JRW - 7 years ago

  • A: Because we zipped this cover up directly onto the mattress and use fitted sheets over it, we only wash the cover maybe twice a year; that works fine for us. Wash with other similar items and line dry for the final bit and it's good to go.

    submitted bymover555 - 6 years ago

  • A: Hi JRW.... This product is washable, but generally not necessary unless large stains or spills. If needed to be washed, wash in warm water and air tumble dry. Re-insert to the mattress as originally instructed. - MC

submitted byMC - 7 years ago

Q: The labeling only mentions Mattress Width and Length (Queen Mattress). What's the maximum depth (thickness) of the queen mattress that the protector covers?

submitted by HRM - 4 months ago

  • A: Hello HRN - Thank you for purchasing our ProtectEase Mattress Protector. The depth length of our mattress covers are able to extend from 14 inches to 18 inches in mattress depth. Hope this helps with your question. Thank You! - Seam Seal International

Q: Does this mattress protector make noise when you move on the bed?

submitted by Javagirl7 - 5 years ago

  • A: I've had a ProtectEase Premium encasement on my mattress for 5 years-- no noticeable noise factor. Of course, I do have a polycotton fitted sheet placed over it, but still noise is not an issue for me.

Q: Will this mattress protector keep the mattress clean and dry for someone who is incontinent or do you need a vinyl mattress protector underneath?

submitted by Happy Shopper - 6 years ago

  • A: Hi Happy Shopper - Thank you for your question and interest in our ProtectEase Premium Mattress Protector. YES - our Premium mattress encasement is a waterproof mattress protector and a great alternative to noisy and uncomfortable vinyl protectors. You would not need any additional protection or vinyl protector. In addition, our Premium Mattress Protector also provides protection from Bed Bugs, Dust Mites and Allergens in addition to being Waterproof. It would be an excellent choice for your mattress protection needs and for incontinence. - Seam Seal International Team

    Hopeful protection

Zippered mattress full encasement is always a bit of a chore to put on. This wasn't terrible and both fabric and zipper channels look decently sturdy. This is on a Murphy bed mattress in a basement space in hopes of guarding against any moisture, little critters or pet allergens.
