As soon as I opened the packaging I immediately noticed that the handlebar/tilt lock would not tighten, making it impossible to use. After reading all the positive reviews I assumed I had just gotten unlucky and received a defective tripod. I decided to order it again in the hopes that the next one would work. When I received the second one, it technically worked, but I was sent a smaller cheaper looking model even though I ordered exactly the same tripod one week earlier. The second one was 1 inch shorter and 1 pound lighter. I tried calling the manufacturer, but they refused to help me and told me it was Target’s problem. I’m returning both.

I've been really happy with this ONAIR ProStand Floor Tripod. It's very durable and sturdy, even with the legs fully extended, but it's also very compact and lightweight when fully folded up. I use it at home for podcasting and live streaming, but I also take it with me since it's so portable; it would fit in most backpacks. The three legs each have three extendable "tabs" that allow the ProStand to stand at different angles, and they're activated by the simple flip of the leg "tabs". The center pole also extends for max height. On top, a retractable clamp pulls open and holds securely your smartphone or camera. Not only can you swivel the arm for 360 degree rotation, but the phone/camera holder angle can be adjusted for vertical or horizontal orientation (or anything in between). And to make sure you're shooting at the angle you want, the ProStand even has a bubble level mounted on the midsection, at the top of the legs. Overall, I'm really happy and would recommend this!
