BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA! I lived on these during my pregnancy. After I ran out I purchased a new bottle and was so sad! They changed the formula because it is NOT the same! Chewy, chalky and gross. The old kind tasted and had the texture of Smarties candy, which is obviously way more palatable than normal Tums. The new recipe is not good. BUMMER!

How does any conpany mess up a generic Tums?
You’d think all generic “tums” would be the same. How can a faux fruit flavored chalky tablet be done “wrong” or “poorly”? I’m not sure, but this one certainly is the worst I’ve ever tasted. Flavors are gross, texture is chunky and doesn’t dissolve nicely when you chew it. I got them as part of a promo so I can’t return them - but trust me, if I could - I would! Just gotta make sure I take it before brushing my teeth to get the taste and texture out right away.

Terrible texture and flavor!
They changed the formula on this product this year and it is HORRIBLE. The texture has changed and is no longer like its competitor. The flavor is now very chalky and artificial. It truly has become inedible and I spend the money on name brand now.

Whats wrong with people?
Very literally nothing wrong with these. They taste just fine. They are just as chalky as any other brand, and work just as well. Cant believe there are so many negative reviews because of taste. Its medicine! I dont buy medicine because it tastes good, I buy it because it works.

Helps with my heartburn
These seem to do a pretty good job at helping with my partners heartburn. The taste is comparable to other name brands. My partner says they take two every time their indigestion acts up and these help calm it down almost immediately. Pretty big bottle for the price.

These were terrible. I have purchased before for my husband and he did not have any issues. Like the other reviewers, something must have changed in the past few months because with the most recent bottle he felt as though these actually gave him heartburn. The texture was gross and did nothing to help soothe any symptoms. I ended up throwing it away and buying the name brand ones. Will never purchase these again.

Leaves poor taste and clumpy residue in mouth
These used to be my favorite store brand of Tums, but they changed the formulation a while back and it’s honestly so hard to make it through this bottle to avoid being wasteful. The taste is poor. Texture is gritty and leaves a weird residue in mouth afterwords. Would recommend another generic brand or the real thing (name brand Tums). It does do the job it is supposed to and relieves stomach acid.

AWFUL taste but they do work
These taste awful. I've gotten the Target brand before so I picked these up in store without hesitating, but I really wish I would've read the reviews before trying these. They are somehow chewy and chalky at the same time and leave an unpleasant aftertaste. They did work though so I gave 2 stars for that. Next time, I'll buy elsewhere and shell out the extra couple dollars for the name brand. Wouldn't recommend.

I'm not sure what they've done or why they've done it, but these are some of the most horrible antacids that I've tasted. They used to be so good and smooth and now they're just chewy and chalky.
