Ultrasonic Deer Repeller

So far, so good, I mounted it the other day, but, the deer haven't come around, so I have no idea if it even works. Time will tell.

I have seen a few deer in the area, but not in my neighborhood yet. I bought this product as a preventive measure because this spring I noticed that dear had been feasting on my azaleas. I could tell by the telltale droppings. Last summer I used an aromatic soup to keep the deer away, that worked. However, I wanted a product that was weatherproof. I have not noticed deer since I have put this product in my yard. I will know for sure how well it works this summer when the deer start to invade my neighborhood along with the rabbits. My only desire is that the back cover of this product would be a little less challenging to take off and put back on.

We watch deer stand in front of the deer "repeller" every day since we have put it up. We were hoping to eliminate them from destroying these already destroyed hedges but no luck. We see it turn on, have tested it out but it is just a piece of plastic attached to our fence that does absolutely nothing. Big bummer as other reviews said it worked.

Deer were munching on my wife's lilies and hosta which made her quite unhappy. After trying the mothball approach, with limited results, we purchased the Deer Gard. After installing per instructions and connecting with an "on at dusk, off at dawn" controlling it seems to be working so far. It success continues we will be buying 2 more for additional coverage at other corners of our home. Thanks for a great product!

Best Product to Keep Deer AWAY from Plants. I plug in power rather than use battery as it put out a continuous sound that annoy the deer and they stay away. Best if you have 2-3 units about 15-20 feet apart. I leave plugged in with year round near plants and shrubs. Use a multiple adapter plug with outdoor extension cord. The Unit has about a 20 foot cord to plug in so you don't need multiple extension cords. Also with this product there is no need to but Deer Repellent that stinks to the high heavens, and need constant reapplication. Constant use will last 2+ years before needs replacement. Very Good Product and settings can be made for other animals from deer to dogs to Amarillos!!!

I bought one of these Deer Gard's and it works great so far. The instructions say to put it as close as possible to eye level of the animal your looking to discourage. In the last reviewer from Michael you will see in photos and narrative he does not have the unit located at eye level! This is why the deer aren't afraid of it! If you put it too low it won't work! You also have to adjust the settings inside the unit for whatever animals your trying to scare off. I have dozens of deer's coming to my fence regularly. However, ever since I have this this up and working I haven't seen 1 deer in weeks! I would say it is working great.

The other review here with 1 Star from Michael is incorrect! The instructions tell it clearly!!! You must position this unit eye level or similar with the animal to scare them away! It indicates it in the instructions! You will notice in his review of this item he show photos and he has positioned the unit WRONG and aiming at the Deer's feet! I have had mine up and usually see 5 to 10 deer every night! I haven't seen one deer in a week! I have the unit positioned CORRECTLY aiming at the animals eye level or similar depending on what your trying to scare off. I will say I hear my neighbors dogs barking a lot which might be at the deer this unit is chasing away. I would highly recommend this item and give it 5 stars!

The Ultrasonic Deer Repeller was blasting. Deer stood in font of it and happily ate flower plants. I thought the first deer was deaf. But when a second deer also came and started eating, I am returning the unit to target. The motion sensor worked. We could hear the unit coming on when something moves in front of it.
