The rug itself is pretty and great quality.. BUT the smell of it was completely horrendous. It smelled like petroleum oil. I had to spray disinfectant on it and throw it in my garage for 3-4 days. FINALLY today it was allowed back in the house. Seriously it made me nauseous with the smell.

I love this rug, but it is lighter in person than the picture so if you want darker, pick the black instead as this one is more muted than the picture. It is soft, fluffy, and nicely made.
