[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good transmission fluid for the Ford 150 1999 model. It is compatible with the F150 Mercron V transmission fluid. Drain all the fluid and replace it with this. The R70W requires 5.9 quarts when you drop the transmission pan %26 replace the filter or 13.4 quarts for the total job when you drain the toqure converter and transmission cooler replacement. This is the best fluid for a vehicle with lots of mileage and is not going to be used for towing excessive loads. Great product for a great price!

I used it as transmission fluid as well as power steering fluid, I had great results with it, shifting is definitely smoother and noticeably quieter. Will buy again for sure since its a fraction of the cost than dealership fluids. Would recommend to anyone to do your own regular vehicle maintenance for cheaper!

Smooth shifting immediately after the first drain-and-fill. The transmission feels more responsive and quieter. Full synthetic formula seems to hold up better under heat, especially in older/high-mileage transmissions. No leaks or breakdowns even after 30k+ miles. A big plus for older vehicles showing early signs of slipping. Make sure to check your car’s specific ATF spec. While this works for many, certain cars (especially older Toyotas or Mazdas) might shift better with the Import Multi-Vehicle version.

I own a bought new Toyota Tundra. At about 80,000 miles the transmission started shifting a little harsh with the factory Toyota WS type ATF. Mostly highway miles. No transmission dipstick of course to make the ATF fluid change easier. Anyway, after changing the trans fluid with Valvoline full synthetic MaxLife ATF, my transmission shifts smoother than ever. I now have 292,000 miles on my truck. I now use Valvoline full synthetic MaxLife ATF in every vehicle I own.

I used this in a 2000 Mercedes Benz E55 AMG after the dealership warranty expired. The dealer did a 98,000 mile flush. I flushed with MaxLife at 170,000 miles and again at 250,000 miles. The transmission which was known for having problems was still going strong, shifting smoothly at 287,000 miles when the car was totaled in a wreck.

I have a 2014 Tacoma 2.7 that I use every day on my pest extermination job. It has 255,800 miles on the clock and Ive used MaxLife ATF for all the transmission fluid changes, every 30,000. The transmission shifts as smooth as silk. Great product and won't break the bank.

6F35 Ford Edge 2.0 has responded very well to 2 drain and fills at 95k miles with Valvoline Max life. Sight thud on 2 to 3 upshifts on steep Pittsburgh streets has all but disappeared. Will be doing another drain and fill at 105k
