Q: I bought this and love quality of wood and product. But the tree parts do not screw together. The base parts that are metal. Tree parts are plastic and metal and do not fit. How do I to fix this?

Waste of money. Wood is poor quality and splits easily from screws.
I don't usually write reviews but this has been exceptionally bad. I received this and promptly put it together, and tossed the packaging. A week later, the wood on a hook/peg split and broke. I emailed the seller and no response. Two weeks after that, two more hooks/pegs have split. Still no response. Pity, it's an otherwise good looking item for a fair price.

Poor quality paint, cracked wood
It was cheaply painted and the paint peels off. The white paint wasn’t covering the wood underneath in many areas. Small white paint chips keep coming off. There were hairline cracks in the wood pieces. Disappointing, really poor quality. We have another product from this brand and expected better.

Great Coat Rack, it was extremely easy to put together and has held up well. It is pretty thick and made of solid materials
