The cocoa scent is strong but not overwhelming. The included Vaseline jelly ingredient helps the moisturizing to stick around for a long time to stop the need to reapply often.

When you rub it on, it smells like yummy chocolate and feels really nice. The lotion is great for dry skin because it moisturizes and hydrates really well. I was extremely disappointed to read the very negative recent reviews for this lotion. I bought a bottle a handful of months ago and loved it so much I was getting ready to buy another. I’m glad I read the reviews, because due to an apparently disliked and unappreciated formula change – The kiss of death for a product – I will not be buying anymore.

I am 58 and just found this lotion and I am obsessed. I have purchased all the products in this line because it feels and smells great! I saw some reviews that said it didn't smell good but I have to disagree. My legs feel hydrated but not sticky. I will continue to buy this as my go-to as I LOVE the smell of everything in this line.

The Cocoa Radiant lotion goes on nice and easy. I don't have to work it in to my skin and it is not greasy. I knocked off one star because the only thing that I believe needs improving is the pump.When there is less than a third of lotion in the container, it is almost impossible to completely finish the lotion in the container just by using the pump. You would have to get a pliers to unscrew the cap for the pump and then invert and shake the container to get at the rest of the lotion.

Why did you change the quality of this lotion ??? it was thicker and now its more watery, its now just like the other lotions which are not good moisturizers , this redone lotion is greasy and thin when its applied , it would have been better to just increase price and maintain quality of the product , now i have to search for a replacement lotion !!!! very disappointed !!

Not only is the new formula greasier and feels cheaper, but it smells BAD! I just opened a new bottle and had a tiny bit left in my beloved old bottle - as I lathered up my arm I noticed the lotion felt different, looked at the back of the new bottle, and sure enough, no more shea butter and tons of ingredient differences. Sniffed my arm to see if the lovely cocoa butter scent was still there… and oh my god. It smells like spoiled food. Like a bad milk/cheese, corn, pickled-pepper, trash juice smell. Like I hadn’t showered and hadn’t eaten a vegetable in a week. The lotion REEKS! I dug a glob of the old formula out of my old bottle to compare, slathered it all over my other arm, and that arm smells nice and cocoa-y. I used to recommend this to everyone- it made my skin soft, even living in arid Los Angeles, and it made me smell heavenly. I cannot use the new formula. People will think I don’t bathe. Girls, it’s time for a new lotion brand.

Please go back to the old formula! Also the new ‘smart pump’ is very difficult to remove and leaves lots of lotion still at the bottom. Btw, Vaseline products have always been an absolute favorite of mine
