Vego Garden 2pk 10" x 20" Stackable Seedling Tray

Very sturdy, high quality and brilliant design! Love that these fit inside regular 10x20 trays.

This is by far the best seed starting tray I have ever owned. While others crack after a couple of seasons, this one is built to last many years. It also has convenient holes at the bottom where you can easily pop out your seedlings with a finger, or use their pop board to push them all up at once. An absolute top-of-the-line product.

Very sturdy, will last several years!!! Easy to plant seeds and remove seedlings after growth.

The plastic is very thick and the plant pots are 1 inch wide. The plant pots are great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a repeat buyer. These trays are absolutely awesome. Heavy well designed trays that produce healthy seedlings with phenomenal roots. Not cheap but good equipment is a sound investment. There are many more expensive trays out there but these are top quality and my choice for my money.

The quality of the product itself is fine but i do not like that the cells are misaligned. It makes it very difficult to mark your seeds with plant markers if you are using different varieties. Fine if you are going to plant all of one kind of seed like all the same lettuce but for me I wanted to label the rows with different seeds and then up pot to the larger cells. Made it nearly impossible to track without using a ton of plant markers for the cells

These stackable trays make gardening easy! If you have limited space these will definitely be your go to! Very sturdy and nice

Great seed starting system. These are way better than any others on the market that I have tried.

First the good. Very durable trays. Well designed, expandable, should last a good long time which is great to get away from the disposable nature of the el cheapo 1020 trays. Now for the unexpected not great at all. It's not standard 1020 size and Vego does not (yet, maybe they will) sell a humidity dome so if you want one you are making your own or rigging one up. The Vego tray measures 10. 25" by 20. 125" and a "standard" 1020 tray measures 21¼" x 11" and you should see the problem. The 1020 lids are too big. If Vego would up their size to the standard 1020 it would show they care about their customers already using standard 1020s and that likely have a supply of them. At a minimum, however, they need to offer a lid for this non-standard sized tray. If you don't need a cover, you can ignore this review as otherwise its a typically high-quality Vego product. Sorry about the lid I used for this photo. I only had an old one left after I had to return a stack of new ones that wouldn't fit. You can still see that the "standard" 1020 is larger than the Vego tray so the top of the lid rests on the tray. It may not be an issue for you if you just have the one tray and it's not super dry where it lives. The bottom up watering with the lid off might be just fine, but not making a lid and not making it to standard sizing is just too major dings for me.

Why stackable if lims are only strong enough for tip tray useless

This stackable tray design is great! It enabled me to start even more seedlings indoors without the headache of having to find more space for multiple trays. The quality is durable and will be reused for gardening years to come!

These are really nice and heavy duty! I’m sure they’ll last a long time. But they aren’t compatible with the watering domes, and as far as I can tell there isn’t a dome option available. Also, the are not at all stackable for storage, so they take up a ton of space in the off season.

Kind of disappointed with the overall manufacturing quality. The components for stacking aren’t easily inserted or removed, which makes the stack not square and seemingly unstable. One of the trays has some obvious discoloration from whatever plastic injection system is used at the factory, which makes me wonder about The longevity of that particular tray and some of the plastic that should’ve been removed from the negative spaces is still there and the point of getting heavy duty plastic stuff is to reduce and eliminate the micro plastics in gardening materials, but this is coming with random little bit of plastic that are falling through the holes. This is definitely one of the trust the process situations and I really wish they had more instruction on what kind of seedling start mix is going to be most effective in this system. That way I don’t have to do all of these experiments myself and risk having delicate little seedlings damaged when popping out of the mold.
