I was looking for the PERFECT diaper bag that didn't have a million pockets, wasn't a backpack, was lightweight and would have enough room without looking too big when I carry it. Oh, and it needs to be cute, not flop around when I open it and needs to be some sort of tote. NOT a backpack (I am not a backpack girl.) This fits the bill in the best way. I will be having my fourth child soon so I've had my fair share of diaper bags. I am able to put all the essentials without having to remember which item is in which pocket. I will also note that I took it on a one night trip the weekend after I received it in the mail. Perfect size. My 3 year old also put slime inside my brand new bag on this trip! Ahh!!! Fortunately with some white vinegar and dish soap, the bag came out looking like new again; a testament to how sturdy and durable this fabric is. Once baby comes, I know I will be able to fit: outside slip pocket: phone, keys, and chapped stick. Inside: several diapers, wipes, extra blanket, nursing cover, bibs, and change of clothes, wallet, small planner, extra pair of underwear and pants for 3 year old, snacks, zip pouch of cream, powder, etc, and a toy. If I do need bottles with me, there are bottle insulators I can buy separate, so to me that is not a deal breaker in a diaper bag. Plus, I've nursed my other kids for most of the time. Outside large zip pocket: changing pad and wet bag. I also love that the blue is subtle, but there is still a super cute fun pattern on the inside. Serious and professional on the outside, party on the inside! So, if you want a tote bag diaper bag for every day, this my number one choice. After trying three different backpacks/totes on a website that rhymes with "Shmamazon", I was thrilled that VB had this sale and I was able to get something of quality for half the normal price. I also love that I got something I can use long after we are out of the baby phase. If you are on the fence, just do it.
