Not as Good this time
Historically I love this coffee. This time was subpar. plastic bag had hole in bottom - beans went everywhere, roasting seemed off. I am willing to try again in the future, but PLEASE consider vacuum packaging for this product to maintain quality and freshness. I was highly disappointed this time around.

These beans make a smooth and rich cup of coffee. I add milk and a bit of cream to my cup, and enjoy it for breakfast. I really appreciate the packaging of the beans: the beans are in a plastic sack which can be easily tied shut with a twist-tie. The plastic bag is in a paper bag which helps to protect the beans from heat and light. Thank you, Stonewall Kitchens!

Coffee Doesn't Get Any Better than This
This coffee is as smooth as silk with no bitterness. Chocolate overtones with a slight fruity finish make it one of my favorites. I prefer brewing it French Press style but whether drip, old school percolator, or French Press, Vermont whole bean dark roast is a rewarding and exceptional coffee experience. I can only hope that Stonewall Kitchen leaves this brand alone and allows the talented coffee artisans of Vermont Coffee to continue to offer this coffee masterpiece, unhindered in their pursuit of coffee excellence.

Still as good as ever
Weighing in. I have been buying VT Coffee Roasters "dark" for years and the quality is just as good now as it was before Stonewall. As for price, what hasn't gone up in price. It's still a deal. From Vermont, I now live across the country so shipping hurts a bit but try another coffee brand and you'll come back. I did
