I wouldn't know. I never received my package. They delivered it to the wrong house. You can clearly see that from the photo that the delivery driver takes. Wrong address. Seems like target doesn't care about the problem. No wonder there's the underdog. I'll never buy nothing from Target again.

Hubby loves it!

My husband loves this coffee. I just bought it on a whim because I seen it on the Circle bonuses and my husband is a big coffee drinker and loves dark roast and whole beans so I thought he might like to try it. It was a win! He likes Peet’s French Roast whole beans and he said that this was better. I’m not a coffee drinker so I can’t give anymore details or specifics about it but I wanted to share something about it and describe as best I could how it was in case someone was looking to purchase it.

My favorite!

Seriously one of my absolute favorite coffees. I’m sensitive to ones that are bitter and have contamination of some sort (like mold, which coffee beans are prone to) and this one passes the test. It grinds nicely, tastes amazing in my French press, I stock up on it and drink it daily. Only downside is the stores around me stopped carrying it so I have to order online (and can’t apply the $2 off to it since it’s in-store only, whomp whomp).

Great coffee, wish it was easier to buy from Target.

Love the coffee- strong, not bitter. I prefer dark roasts in general and this one is practically perfect. What is not perfect is that Target doesn’t carry in store anywhere in my state, but all of the sales, promos, and circle offers exclude shipping purchases.

Cheap coffee with a catchy name.

Very acrid, and not nose friendly. It might be ok in a drip brewer, but it is revealed as a poor bean and roast in pour over brew. All bitter and no backbone. Just cheap coffee. Skip it.

Ok, but uses twice as much coffee per cup

Less flavorful and not worth the extra cost. Package recommends 2 tbsp. per cup, while most other coffees take 1, so in addition to costing $3-5 more per bag than Green Mountain, you need to use twice as much per cup. Tried it both ways, and this tastes watered down with 1 tbsp. Doesn’t taste bad with 2 tbsp, and certified Fair Trade is great, but this coffee is not worth the price.

One of The Best

I had tried one of the other blends from Kicking Horse, but I recently stumbled up their Kick A... blend which is outstanding! I love a dark roast and a full bodied coffee that isn’t compromised by additional flavors. This is a bold and smooth coffee that is a new favorite in our house. I love the smell after I grind the beans as they give off a bold smell. I am a fresh press coffee addict as this brews perfectly! I am hooked!!
