Q: Would this be a good pre tan scrub?
A: Hi there, and great question! Buff It Out AHA Exfoliating Body Scrub can be a great option for prepping your skin before tanning as it has a blend of chemical and physical exfoliants that can help smooth uneven texture for a more even application. That being said, depending on the type of tanning you're planning to do, this answer can change. If you'll be visiting a tanning salon for a spray tan, we highly recommend checking in with your salon first to see what type of preparation is needed for their services. If you'll be applying your own spray tan, we suggest doing a small test first. Once you know this combination works for you and your skin, you can use this exfoliant the day before application. And finally, if you'll be sunbathing or using a tanning bed, it's best to stop using Buff It Out at least a week before as the AHAs in the formula can make your skin more sensitive to any kind of sun exposure. Regardless of the type of tanning you'll be doing, be sure to wear sunscreen, protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this specific product and for a week afterward. We hope this information helps! Please reach out to our Versed customer care team for further assistance. Xx, Team Versed
