Extra-Strength Healthy Hip & Joint Bite-Sized Chews represent the third stage in our comprehensive life stages joint support program for dogs, and is recommended for dogs in need of maximum joint support. It is also recommended by veterinarians for geriatric and working dogs and as a follow-up to support normal recovery after orthopedic surgery.

Just started this with my older dog. So far, so good. She likes it and I hope it helps her mobility. Other Vetriscience products work great (UTI and dental chews) so I am optimistic

My fur baby's vet recommended these for his recently diagnosed hip dysplasia. I love that they are hydrolyzed, as it's easier for him to digest given his IBS. He loves them.

Great product for my old dogs, they love them like treats, which makes it easy! Only thing I don't like is the chemicals they use, can't these be left out? Propylene glycol is not healthy for animals, especially ones with compromised health.

I have had a very good experience so far with these supplements. I started giving them to my 1 y/o dog, who has medial luxating patella in both knees to help protect her joints. We only started 2 weeks ago so I can't really say I have noticed a magical difference, which is why I am only giving 4 stars and not 5. My pup can be pretty picky about treats, but she never hesitates to eat this chew! We also sell these at the vet clinic I work at and have had a lot of success with patients on it!

My 12 year old lab is like a new dog since she's been taking these! Her comfort and mobility have vastly increased and her pain has decreased. Would definitely recommend giving them a try!

I gave one chew to my dog right after she ate her meals, and she was nauseous for several hours afterwards. She even got sick one time. This was the only thing we changed with her diet. Use with caution on dogs with sensitive stomachs.

Thanks for reaching out to us Jen. We're so sorry to hear that your dog didn't do well with GlycoFlex 3. The high levels of active ingredients in these chews can lead to mild digestive upset in dogs. We'd recommend administering with meals to offset the possibility of stomach upset. If that doesn't work, you may want to break up the dosing between AM and PM to make it easier to digest. You can also consider the GlycoFlex 3 chewable tablets, which may be easier on your dog's stomach. Please let us know if any of these solutions work or if there's anything else we can do to help. My dog tore her tendon from her knee (surgery and plate/screws) and has some arthritis in her hip. After taking these for a few weeks, she gets up normally and can run around the backyard. Quite Noticeable difference.

I ordered these treats for the first time and it took a while for them to get here because the postsl service kept bouncing them around between cities. When they finally got here, I opened the bag to see the treats... weird texture, almost dried out! A crumbly mess. Serving size is 2 treats for my dog... but I don't know what the size should be so I just grab some chunks and dust to toss in my dogs food. The bag says store in a cool, dry place and I'm thinking that did not happen for a while!

Dog on diet but I can't find calories listed per chew on bag or web site. No info on Fat, Carbs, Added Sugar or Protein. Also is not listed on web site. I need to count calories for my dog now and will have to give these up. If you don't need to know these things, then dogs love them.

Our Labrador loves the chews and they seem effective, however quality control is an issue. The chews arrive broken into bits, there are some rare whole chews in the bag. The dosing schedule implies that each chew has a certain dosage, but when they're all broken apart, how can I possibly have any idea how much I'm giving? It's a guestimate at best. Thinking about trying the tablets to see if those are consistently whole.

Started giving this to my dog that is 12 years old. She would barely move. Could barely walk up step. Just a real struggle for her. 3 weeks in to giving this to her, she wants to play with the younger dogs more. She definitely has more of a pep in her step and just all around feels better. My 12 yo lab had been uncomfortable with hip and joint pain. Her acupuncture vet recommended this product and it has really helped. There is very little limping and she's running around like a puppy. And she loves the taste
