This over-the-counter medicine relieves sinus pressure and nasal congestion by reducing swelling in the sinuses. This decongestant nasal spray targets congestion at the source with a powerful decongestant medicine called oxymetazoline. Sinex Severe Nasal Spray helps relieve sinus symptoms from allergies and colds. Vicks Sinex Severe works in seconds and lasts 12 hours. For adults and children 6 years and older (with adult supervision): 2 or 3 sprays in each nostril, not more often than every 10-12 hours. Do not exceed 2 doses in 24 hours. Not intended for daily use, read each label and use only as directed. Call your doctor if you suspect a sinus infection, sinusitis, or other more serious symptoms.
