[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been playing on my xbox with this controller and the first thing I noticed is the ultra fast input latency. this is the world’s fastest Xbox controller, and honestly, it feels that way. Inputs are crisp, responsive, and there’s practically zero lag a key advantage for FPS and fighting games. The swappable modules (thumbsticks, D-pad, back paddles) and tunable triggers make it easy to tailor the controller to your playstyle. The textured grip is excellent for long sessions, and the materials used feel more solid and refined than many competitors in this price range. It feels durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used a bunch of different controllers over the years including my Elite Series 2 and I can honestly say the Victrix Gambit Prime blew me away. I plugged it in expecting to spend 10 minutes tweaking my settings but nope it worked perfectly with the setup I already had. The first game I tested was FIFA 25 and immediately it felt smooth and responsive. But where it really stood out was in Rainbow Six Siege. That’s a game where precision and reaction time matter a ton and I finally felt like I could aim the way I always wanted to. I’m not exaggerating when I say I felt in control like my shots were landing faster my movements were tighter and I wasn’t second guessing what my inputs were doing. The buttons are sharp clicky and super responsive. The sticks felt tight but smooth and the grip texture kept my hands locked in even during intense moments. I was roaming with confidence pushing angles and I genuinely felt like the controller gave me a competitive edge. Also the cable is clean and the whole design just looks sick with the purple accents. I didn’t expect to love this thing as much as I do but it’s now my go to for any FPS or high stakes game. If you’re on the fence about trying something new this one’s worth it. It just feels right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted the Victrix Gambit Prime Tournament Controller for Xbox to review, and feel while it's definitely gamer approved, it has a few rough patches as well! The controller felt comfortable for long sessions of play, which is a huge factor in purchasing a controller. It's easy to program and swap buttons, it even comes with a case to store them in! Despite not being wireless, the wire can be removed which is helpful if a replacement is necessary. It doesn't have any delay issues, a necessary factor in tournaments! The triggers were also super comfortable, and reacted to commands quickly! While the controller has many positives, it does have some user friendly drawbacks which may alienate people who are less tech savvy. The Victrix is a bit bulky, and lacks color variations, which are more cosmetic factors, but something to keep in mind when purchasing it as a gift for someone! The biggest hurdle is the reliance on an "app" for major features. You can't download it through the app store, and can only get it through PC, which may not be accessible for everyone. Features this will be necessary for are things such as vibration settings and volume ones! The built-in audio was very good, despite the inconvenience in setting it up!

Right out of the box, it looks sleek with that black and purple color combo—it gives off a premium, high-performance vibe. The modular design is a game-changer too; being able to swap out components is awesome for customizing it to my play style. The grip feels solid and comfortable during long gaming sessions, and the low latency is exactly what I need for competitive play. Also, the fact that it comes with Dolby Atmos support is a nice bonus for immersive sound. So far, it feels like one of the best wired controllers I’ve used. Definitely worth it for serious gamers.

Really with the modular design so that you can remove the components and customize them to best suit before facing the challenges, along with a series of small accessories that come with you, it only takes a few minutes to have a controller that best suits you. You are a fan of the high-end Analog inside available to you, you like the 4-way navigation key that is available for you next to two other key models, other controllers do not have enough keys or you do not like the buttons arranged on the hand, there will be other options for you to replace. Stick Gate for replacement, a small screwdriver so you can easily remove and fix the modules on the hand. Two additional D-pad keys and some analog sticks with all different types. In which the FPS stick model is highly appreciated by many people because of its ability to support aiming much better than other models. However, when you start using this model, you will find something quite confusing: Victrix | Gambit Prime Tournament Controller - Xbox only provides you with two connection modes: connecting by USB dongle, or by wire with a Type-C cable. Normally, high-end devices are often equipped with Tri-mode or in some cases, there will still be two ways to connect, one via Bluetooth, one via wire. So choosing to connect by cable with Victrix's dongle is considered quite strange. But quickly after that, I understood the reason when the company said that connecting by Bluetooth gun in many cases is much more susceptible to interference, so choosing to remove this connection standard to reduce costs is also understandable. In fact, it has been proven that when tested with PC, PS4, PS5 and Steam Deck, everything works very well and stably. Especially for the Steam Deck model, even when you are in PS4, PS5 mode, the controller still works very stably (this may be because Steam itself has very good support for Sony's controller models). The controller also has 4 trigger buttons on the back so you can easily assign more buttons for easier operation. The best thing is probably that the controller is equipped with a tournament lock feature to limit the chance of you pressing the wrong button, leading to unfair elimination. With such sophisticated designs and advanced features, you probably understand how the Victrix | Gambit Prime Tournament Controller - Xbox will show itself during the game, right? It must be said that almost any game genre will help you operate much easier, and the very fast customization almost never makes you lose interest while switching between games. The design is similar to Xbox, so you can hold it for a long time without getting bored, and the buttons on the back have a moderate protrusion, so even though it is not removable, I do not often press them by mistake like when using the Elite controller. However, the lack of vibration also makes my enjoyment of games, especially PS5 exclusive games like GOW, Returnal, a bit less, although the game's trigger button is quite sensitive, making it great for shooting games, especially intense battles, but the lack of Haptic Feedback with Adaptive trigger makes the single-player part of the game seem to lack some of the spices that we are so used to. Whether the Victrix | Gambit Prime Tournament Controller - Xbox is worth buying or not depends on what purpose you are looking for a controller for. If you are looking for a controller to enjoy the game, unfortunately this is not the controller for you. But if you are looking for a controller that can help you break through your limits and break the rank that is holding you back, this is the controller you should pick up right away.
