I will never purchase another gift card from your store. My husband and I shopped at our local Target and amongst other things we purchased a $25 + 4 Visa gift card for our nephew's birthday. When he opened it part of the barcode is missing and does not work. After calling your customer service department, I was given the phone number for gift cards. That department told me to call the phone number on the back of the card. I had already told them we had tried that first The numbers are missing. I also looked at the reviews for this card. Others are having the same issue. One person posted a picture of the back of the card which showed the exact same thing; diagonal area where the numbers are missing. Not great customer service Target! Do better.

Rip off. Such a scam
Wouldn’t give this card any stars. For them to post my review l have to give a star. That’s not right. Sent as a gift by email. Person receiving the email gift card let me know card status was on hold. Called customer service. Very unfriendly customer service. They charge a 4.00 fee. When refunding back they won’t refund the 4.00. Told me I have to wait 30 days for a paper check to come in the mail. Yet they pull the money out of my account right away. Won’t recommend or buy anymore. Do better Visa. Thanks for embarrassing me.

Don't buy ANY gift card from Target!
I am so disappointed in this card. It was damaged before I ever opened it and you cannot read the last four digits on the front of the card so it cannot be used. I called the number on the back 877-867-4873 and you CANNOT talk to a live person to help you. You just go around in circles. I went to Checkmybalancenow.com and same thing, no live person and no way to reach one. I feel so badly for my son. I hate to tell him wasted his money. He doesn't have much money to waste. This has really made me mistrust visa in general and Target in particular.

don't buy them online you can't return them and they are not activated. You have to call the number on the back of the card and you will have a pending account. I brought 2 and it all is a waste of time.
