Total scam, do not purchase!
Total scam. Tried to use the $100 gift card the day I bought it as it was for my son to go to an event where cash was not accepted and he doesn’t have any cards yet as he’s too young. I tried to check the balance before he left with it and it wouldn’t show any balance, their site kept erroring. So I called and they said there was nothing they could do and I needed to open a case and they would investigate. I had to provide a huge amount of personal information for them to look into their own issue, I am so very annoyed. My son had to go to his event with no way to pay for anything, Awful experience, awful card. Do not purchase.

4 $100 gift cards and non of them work, 2 were able to get help from customer service but the other 2 were told there’s nothing on the cards. I’m furious, this is a waste of so much money.

Purchased this 100 dollar gift card. When receiptient opened the number was rubbed off. Apparently the funds were used in az somewhere via a call to visa. I purchased in TN. Trying to get my money back but no luck yet.

A huge scam
I'm truly in awe that Target continues to sell these after reading all of the reviews. Like many others have mentioned, I purchased two of these for Christmas presents only to find out yesterday that the security code is gone off of both of them. I have been in circles with Target and Visa and gotten nowhere. Huge lesson learned. Makes me sick to my stomach to loose money to scammers.

I, like many others, was scammed with purchasing this gift card. I got two of them near Chicago, IL and the cards only had 12 digits (instead of 16) and the security code was rubbed off. The cards are completely unusable. Target wouldn’t refund..

Purchased this at the pico Rivera target which was mistake number one, as a Xmas gift. Upon opening the card the security numb. and half of the 16 digit numbers were missing. Will not be purchasing gc’s from target if they can’t guarantee proper product.

I bought 3 of these $100 gift cards for my siblings . All three had the main numbers on the front of the card wiped off. And the security number on the back of the cards was SCRATCHED off on ALL 3 cards . $300 down the drain.

Doesn't work to buy software....
Wanted to buy some software from a possible shady website so I thought that I would get a card. Kept getting an error. Apparently these cards regulate what you are buying. I kept getting a message from Stripe that this card is not supported. Waste of $6.

Gift Card was Already Tampered With Upon Opening
It’s comforting to read that others also picked up this card to only discover this item was tampered with. Upon opening this card as part of a gift I discovered the card’s 16 digit card number and security code were completely scratched out. This was extremely disappointing especially at Christmas time when you pay a price tag of $107. Currently we’re awaiting the card issuer’s customer service team to refund the amount but I will not be purchasing or gifting this item ever again.

If I could give this a 0 star I would. I got a $100 gift card for a family in need who had a house fire. When I met back up with them, they showed me the card was damaged and missing the barcode/security code. This is insane!!!
