Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides Unflavored Powder

Terrible packaging!! Pain to open or try to store once opened.

It’s tasteless and mixes well in hot coffee. Haven’t taken it long enough to see a difference. Only downside is it takes 3tbsp for one serving a day so it goes fast. Since I take collagen daily this didn’t even last me a month.

Is bovine collagen ORGANIC? Do not want to be ingesting carcinogenic pesticides daily. Does not say organic so I doubt it is so will not purchase again until I know. Need a better lid design on cardboard container.

I have been using this for 3 months now. As a conscious, non selfish human, I am greatly happy with new packaging. It was such a heart ache to get one more product that I use regularly and have a huge plastic packaging each time. I have no idea how people manage to mess the opening instructions up; brand has such a straight forward and clear instructions to open it up and once it’s open, you can just use it even easier than the plastic one. Unbelievable to me that people asks for plastic one back just because they don’t want to put a little effort - like really little - to figure things out. No issue with using two hands because, come on, if you have both, you as well can take that 2 seconds to twist the lid of the plastic one. But I literally can open the paper one with my hand. I also don’t understand how this is harder to store as it’s literally the same size as the plastic one. I am super happy! Great brand move towards conscious consumption. BUT I also have some concerns and as a non-long term purchaser I am a little lost; I wish to get some support on this point. This is my second package. First one was the plastic one and the color was slightly clearer. And when mixed with hot water and whisked, it would become transparent. And would not smell or taste. This time it has more yellowish color, it smells - and changes the taste of my coffee while still being unflavored - and when I whisk, it’s not transparent, it looks milky. So as a fan of transparency and scientific responses, I’d love to know why all these things are different in this product. I literally feel like I am making my coffee with bone broth. Not cool. And doubt will continue to buy despite good results cause it’s incredibly unpleasant.

They have taken “vital” ingredients out of their formulas. Read an old label vs. the new paper packaged ones.

Haven't seen any results, do not expect as too soonn. BUT have now read enough to stop using Vital Proteins because of first not disclosing ingredients and then disclosing metals (not many). So many protein products available (too many??), so keep looking!

The lid is awful! It took me five minutes to open. It’s made of flimsy paper, and I dropped the product twice because of it. Both times, a lot of the contents spilled out, leaving me with far less to use. It’s incredibly frustrating to lose so much product due to poor packaging. A sturdier lid would make all the difference.

At first I didn’t like your new packaging but after buying it a couple of time I prefer the new packaging. I haven’t seen much improvement on my joints but then again they are messed up.

See attached photos. Little plastic bits from the cap are falling off and getting mixed in to the powder. They are small enough you would easily not notice and ingest them.

Hi Vital! Does the advanced formula have the same amino acid profile as the original formula? I don’t see it on the label. I have been loving Vital Proteins for almost ten years now.

I like the product. I HATE YOUR NEW PACKAGING. WE HAVE TRIED TWICE TO OPEN YOUR NEW PACKAGING. SO GLAD I KEPT MY ORGAIN CONTAINER SO I COULD DUMP YOUR PRODUCT INTO THAT CONTAINER. GO BACK TO WHAT WORKED!! I WON'T TRY YOURS AGAIN!!

For those that do not like the new packaging… Take the new container and dump it into your plastic one. I recycle and up cycle so I have the older ones to use but I decided to not do so. I minded the new package in the beginning but I’m ok with it. I am doing my best to rid my life of plastic. I purchased this one bz the flavor ones (still in plastic) do not agree with my system. I add liquid flavor monk fruit or liquid stevia and it’s the best. The only issue I have with the new package is it someone drops it. My family member has shaky hands so some sort of little clip would be ideal to lock the new package just in case it gets dropped.

I never got my package and they didn’t want to resolve my issue. Clearly a scam, be aware

New containers are HORRIBLE! I have used Vital Proteins for quite a while, but will be looking into other similar products because of your packaging.

It had an off-putting message on the seal about how by opening the product you waive your right to litigation or something. That gave me pause. Then I looked into quality brands for collagen and other supplements and learned that this Vital Proteins one has concerns with arsenic levels, so no wonder they include the warning. I picked a different brand that passes quality testing for heavy metals and other contaminants.

Thank you for making the switch to less (almost no) plastic packaging!! I hope other companies take notice and will do the same. Now I can enjoy a product that I really like. Thank you

Love this product for hair, skin and nails Hot coffee mix in daily However the new packaging is a pain in the butt to open. Come up with a better way to package please.

Love the product; hate the new container. I am a senior with arthritis and CANNOT open the new container. I need to have a neighbor open for me. Why did you switch from the perfect canister twist off to the very cheap cardboard????

The new paper packaging is terrible! Please go back to the plastic. I had to use pliers to open the tab because it ripped and the lid doesn’t easily close. What a nuisance. Other than that, I love the actual product. It dissolves effortlessly, no taste, and works!

I use the unflavored collagen in my morning beverage daily. It has no flavor and adds a touch of creaminess. My hair and fingernails are strong and healthy. It’s perfect and I want to thank you for using paper packaging instead of plastic. Bravo!
