Leaves a gritty texture in my mouth and has a chalky taste to it. Not how I remembered it. I love their other products but this is one I won’t be getting again.

If you have a basic handheld frother mixing is not a problem... I use it with cold milk - taste great - kinda like a malt milk flavor (with a hint of artificial sugar.) Will buy again.

I don't usually eat breakfast, so I rely on protein shakes in the morning. I've tried many different brands, and this one is my favorite. It's the most delicious protein powder I've ever tried, but it's always out of stock. It's frustrating that it's not consistently available, especially since it's part of my daily routine.

I am obsessed with the chocolate protein! It’s the best tasting protein powder I’ve tried. My only criticism is that this product is constantly out of stock. It’s become part of my daily routine and it’s frustrating whether it’s out of stock for long periods of time.

I’ve used this product for months and love it. At first I used Chocolate, which is delicious, and drank it after my morning coffee. My stomach is sensitive and I can’t eat for at least two hours in the morning. This protein is my morning boost and sustenance until I eat. I love it. Then later in the evening, I drink the vanilla, which is nice and creamy. I mix it first with water, stir thoroughly, then add lactose free milk. Makes a perfect supplement morning and night. Naturally I subscribe because I never want to run out. It’s the best I have had.

I find I can't mix it enough, there's always lumps of greasy mix. The taste is fine. Not bad taste at all. Almost halfway through the canister. I wouldn't rank this as high as the Vital Proteins Chocolate, which I like a lot and like in my morning coffee. Just finding a way to mix this stuff without the coagulated lumps.

Best Mixing Practice Start with adding 1-2 scoops of collagen in a dry mug/cup, add a hot liquid such as coffee or tea, and stir/mix thoroughly for 15-20 seconds Using cold liquid? Start with adding a scoop or two of collagen in a dry mug/cup, then fill 1/3 of the way with lukewarm water, mix/stir thoroughly for 15-20 seconds, then top it off with cold liquid for the best sipping experience. Using ice? Follow the same steps, adding ice before topping off your collagen drink with cold water. Adding to milk or juice? We recommend using a frother and slowing adding in 1-2 scoops of collagen. Or, try using a shaker/blender bottle and shake well for 15-20 seconds. Other Ideas Add to hot soups, stews, gravies, or chili Add to oatmeal, pudding, or yogurt

My favorite is the cold brew coffee! I mix two scoops with lactose-free chocolate milk, toss it into the freezer for a bit and then BOOM instant breakfast! It tastes just like a Wendy's frosty to me. Keep in mind that this is a protein shake, not a milk shake, smoothie, or a frap! There will be some chunks and it may even be grainy, but VP got this one right on the mark and it's pretty tasty as far as protein mixes go. Added a spoonful of instant coffee to the mix for a little extra flavor!

These other reviewers are crazy. The taste is one of my favorites for whey protein. I switched to this from isopure chocolate. My fav part is this doesn’t give me a stomach ache like other proteins.

It doesn't even matter what I used this with: skim milk, almond milk, water: It all tasted bad with a chalky consistency. Made me feel like i didn't shake it enough.

I started with Vital 3 years ago just taking the unflavored collagen. I've now been using just the performance protein powder on and off for the past year. This is by far my favorite protein powder! It doesn't have any yucky extra ingredients like other powders on the market, and the added collagen is a great bonus. It mixes so easily with just milk, but I usually put it in my daily smoothie instead. I would recommend this to everyone!

Great protein amount. Love that it has no acesulfame. The flavor Guava Lime is not the most disgusting flavor ive ever tasted though. I think you could come up with a more revolting flavor if you'd just try harder.

The flavor is amazing, I’ve never had bloating symptoms (really normal in me), the energy it provides me I thinks is awesome! My muscles are more defined and strong.
