I'm learning that it's a challenge to find duvet covers that have the right combination of appearance and texture. A soft (non-abrasive) fabric will feel great against the skin but without a pleasing pattern, well, it leaves me wanting more. Moreover, the same is true for the reverse. Fortunately, I picked right when I purchased this duvet cover. The only thing that I'm not too sure I'll like is the shams. I haven't put the on my pillows yet because they have a pattern I was concerned would keep me awake and I only have two pillows (I know, I need to get more pillows, right?!). But I did just rest my face against the sham on my bed to see how much this would bother me and it's actually not too bad. We'll see. This is a great set either way, especially at 40% off.
