Q: Hi. The photos of this item look like lacquered brass, however the description says "Antique". Also in some of the customer photos, the item looks very "antiqued" or almost blackened. Which is it? Thx

The quality of the rack is good, however the color is so disappointing. I expected more of a golden brass. Instead, this is a dull grayish. Others on the market are $350 and up. Because the quality is good, I’m going to try to spray paint and see how it goes.

The warm, shiny golden finish is a complete lie. As the pictures in the reviews show, the finish is dark, greyish, has no shine, dull. Complete lie. And looks cheap. Shame on Magnolia for advertising it in such a misleading way.

The structure of it is nice as it has this high end look but for $50 you would expect nicer quality. This quality feels like cheap, it’s really light, feels like something you would buy from Shein or Temu. Also the color isn’t as nice as in the pictures it’s more of a rustic brass color in person. Don’t recommend

The quality is fine. However, I was looking for the brass color to match my bathroom accents. This color is in fact brown or tarnished. Not at all what I was expecting. I also purchased the matching towel hooks (as pictured), this color is exactly as it should be. You'll see that the rack does not match the hook.

Not brass at all, this is made out of iron and painted to look like brass but the paint looks like cheap gold paint. Lightweight so you know its cheap metal. Returning, very disappointed. I also ordered the towel hook from the same collection, same style, and it looks way more like brass, not painted and has a good weight to it. For $50 i would expect this one to be a bit nicer.

As other reviews have mentioned, it’s much darker in real life than in photos. It’s much more of an antique brass finish vs a bright bronze, and doesn’t match the gold in the other magnolias bathrroom hardware. Bummed because I was hoping this would work!
