Wearable Butterfly Wings Craft Kit- Mondo Llama™

Cute idea - DO NOT DO IT TO YOURSELF! Fell for a cute little Instagram video of someone’s child running around playing in the wings… had to do most of it for my 5yr old. so sticky. So many white little sticky strips you have to cover the whole thing with and then you have to peel off the backs. Then you have to line up the other side of the wings to the other said…but wait you can’t readjust it because it sticks together immediately…again I’m warning you. DON’T DO IT!! Your blood pressure will thank you.

The butterfly wings are adorable and a great price! Highly recommend!

Such a hit for my four year olds birthday party. All the kids enjoyed making them however they were a bit difficult for the younger kids. Definitely required parents help but turned out awesome!

My daughter is 3 she is into caterpillars & butterflies she was very happy to wear the butterfly wings made by her mommy! Definitely is time consuming took me close to 2 hours but worth every smile!

Items were not complete and they were never reshipped because they were out of stock even if it shows the store has 15 available. Not buying from this company ever again.

The sticky wing is very sticky and they accidentally ripped it a few times when the plastic pieces stuck to the wrong parts.

Fun activity for my 7 year old daughter and friends. They loved making it and then playing outside. Highly recommend

I loved how you can make it very easily. But the sticky tape takes very long time to cover all the nooks and crannies. The colors are very pretty and you can probably use them for other crafts.

Love this. Great craft. I did it with my 3 year old, and she loved all the colors. So easy to make unique butterfly wings.

The assembling part was not easy. If you change your mind on which color of plastic you are putting in the window and try to remove it, you risk ripping the wings. The double sided tape to attach the two sides of the wings was a pain. Ended up using my own tape. But when it’s all assembled, my daughter played with the wings for a few days and it’s still lasting. Hasn’t ripped.

My kids love these! After trying to assemble with my 5.5yr old...I would not recommend doing it with little kids. I assembled the 2nd one after my kids were asleep and it was sooo much easier.

Incredible value and great quality

I was surprised by the size and I bought it on a whim for my daughter's birthday and for $5 it was the perfect gift. I loved that it had several color wings to her liking. I laid out the wings for her and she placed the pieces where she wanted them. I only have one complaint and I hope they change it. The kit came when extra adhesive double sided strips which were a pain in the butt to use. I did not use them at all. I hope they can be changed to either smaller strips or circles that can be quickly placed around the body of the butterfly so that it can be easier for a child to do. I hope that Mondo Llama comes out with a Wearable Ladybug Wing Kit because I will definitely buy several kits of it.

This is probably our favorite craft from Target. It's so easy to make, beautiful, and really fun for my toddler to dress up as a butterfly! She has been playing with it non stop! Love it!!
