Wearable Butterfly Wings Craft Kit- Mondo Llama™

This was a nightmare for young kids. Need a parent for each kid that does one. Not buying again!

The adhesive was too sticky and all the wrong pieces stuck to the back and ripped the wings when we tried to remove them. My daughters were both very frustrated and crying. I ended up throwing them out.

So cute! I like that the entire kit is included. The pieces are high quality. I'm not sure it's really fun to put together for a 6 year old as I had to help kiddo quite a bit. I do like that you can pick 2 color options for each "hole" to fill.

They're pretty when they're done, but very frustrating to line up to stick and you can't peel it off and try again without ripping it, which necessitates tons of the sticky tape (I gave up and got out the glue stick). Kids are 7 and 5, and both got frustrated trying to do this one. Now they're happily running around in the wings and I needed a coffee break to destress from it.

Exceeded expectations. An amazing price for what comes with it. Wings are sturdier than you think. Not a con necessarily, however, it takes a while to assemble. I think it took me, my two kids (6&4) two hours to complete from start to finish for two sets of wings. It’s tedious. Not necessarily a bad thing, just plan accordingly!

I bought two. The first one did not have Instructions and some of the transparencies were ripped. It didn't look like it had been opened before. Luckily there were lots of extra colors. It made it difficult to put all the colors in since we didn't know we were supposed to take off the white sticker. The next one went much smoother after we found directions. It was very cute and super affordable costume.

Very fun activity, my girls were a little young to do it but had so much fun with it. The wings have lasted and they love wearing them in the sun.

Love this product so much. Loved seeing my lil one light up as the wings hit the sun. Amazing product and really good size.

My son loved making this, especially the variety of colorful and differently shaped pieces included. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the wings were and love that my son or daughter could wear this as a costume at some point in the future. This was definitely a favorite of ours.

Loved putting these together with my 4 & 2 yr old. It is a little time consuming when you get to the double sided tape but so worth it. She loves them! I’d love to see them come out with maybe a dragon set for my little boy.

Ordered this kit for my niece who loves to dress up and do crafts. It was an easy enough craft that didn’t make too much of a mess.

These are such a cute idea, and for a great price, but they are honestly a nightmare to put together. Everything sticks to the sticky back of the wings and then the sticky part ripped off when trying to remove it. I would still buy it again though because it was so cute and my daughter loved designing it.

My 5 year old and I enjoyed this project. We did take some breaks as it was a little tedious for my 5 year old (decent amount of prep before you can put it together, like popping out the colored pieces and figuring out layout, etc.) BUT once they are done, the wings are amazing! We enjoyed doing this together and my daughter loves to wear them and see the sunlight come through the wings. AWESOME product, Target!

Putting them together was tedious. Littles will need an adults help but my daughter enjoyed picking the colors and running around the backyard while wearing the wings.

This is an adorable craft however my 3 year old had difficult doing it herself. Still though, she loved the end product!

These are not a quick project, but they're absolutely beautiful when finished. If you're a perfectionist you won't like how hard it is to line up the top side, and adding the double sidded tape took FOREVER, but my girls love them! Would make a great costume, but we use them just for dress up fun!

The age group intended is not the age group doing the work. You can’t make mistakes putting it together because peeling it off tears the outline. Then you have to cut and peel SO MANY double sided tape strips to adhere the other side. It took an hour to do the tape alone. My toddler loved it afterward but she didn’t get to do anything other than pick the colors as it requires a lot of fine motor skills. I would prefer to just buy one already put together at that point. For the price, it’s ok, but anything more than five bucks and it’s not worth it.
