So fun!
We did this for a craft during a family vacation with girls ages 3-7years—it was a big hit! It did take a few adults to help put things together-specifically lining up the front and back of the wing structure to finish the craft, but I would totally buy these again. They came with plenty of supplies in the pack including extra color pieces and lots of double sided tape. A tip for those doing this activity for the first time: pre-separate out the color pieces for each kid so they can more easily put them in place and with less help. Highly recommend for 30 minutes+ of fun for the kids.

Too frustrating to be fun
The adhesive was too sticky and all the wrong pieces stuck to the back and ripped the wings when we tried to remove them. My daughters were both very frustrated and crying. I ended up throwing them out.

It's not for me.
They're pretty when they're done, but very frustrating to line up to stick and you can't peel it off and try again without ripping it, which necessitates tons of the sticky tape (I gave up and got out the glue stick). Kids are 7 and 5, and both got frustrated trying to do this one. Now they're happily running around in the wings and I needed a coffee break to destress from it.

Exceeded expectations. An amazing price for what comes with it. Wings are sturdier than you think. Not a con necessarily, however, it takes a while to assemble. I think it took me, my two kids (6&4) two hours to complete from start to finish for two sets of wings. It’s tedious. Not necessarily a bad thing, just plan accordingly!

One was great the other was missing Instructions and had some tears.
I bought two. The first one did not have Instructions and some of the transparencies were ripped. It didn't look like it had been opened before. Luckily there were lots of extra colors. It made it difficult to put all the colors in since we didn't know we were supposed to take off the white sticker. The next one went much smoother after we found directions. It was very cute and super affordable costume.

These are such a cute idea, and for a great price, but they are honestly a nightmare to put together. Everything sticks to the sticky back of the wings and then the sticky part ripped off when trying to remove it. I would still buy it again though because it was so cute and my daughter loved designing it.

My 5 year old and I enjoyed this project. We did take some breaks as it was a little tedious for my 5 year old (decent amount of prep before you can put it together, like popping out the colored pieces and figuring out layout, etc.) BUT once they are done, the wings are amazing! These are not a quick project, but they're absolutely beautiful when finished. If you're a perfectionist you won't like how hard it is to line up the top side, and adding the double sidded tape took FOREVER, but my girls love them! Would make a great costume, but we use them just for dress up fun!
