A favorite
This has been one of my 3 year old son’s favorite Mondo Llama crafts because of the colorful and sparkly sand and the fun of layering it in the bottles (plus, it was great practice using a funnel to understand how one works)! We have these displayed on a shelf in our house and he regularly asks me if we can make more that are similar soon. The bottles are very small so the activity did not consume much time but he did not mind.

Flimsy plastic bottles in kit
This does exactly what it says, and entertained my 4yo for about 10mins. I wish the bottles were glass instead of plastic, so we can keep them around the house as decorative items. Because now it’s just another craft that was fun while it lasted. The bottles that come in the kit are fine, but just look and feel cheap. If I do it again, I would pick up small glass bud jars and use with the kit instead!

These are perfect for the price! Theres 4 bottles and plenty of sand. There’s plenty of sand and 7 different colors. The bottles are plastic but durable enough. For $5 I’m more than happy with this and definitely recommend for a fun cheap activity.

Great rainy day craft
This is such a great set and for $5 you can’t beat it! My kids really enjoyed it. The bottles are a bit smaller than I expected, but after doing 2 each, my kids were good to go. If they were much bigger they may have lost interest. It helps to put a big tablecloth down that you can scoop up and shake outside (or do these outside in the first place.) And the glitter packet mysteriously disappeared before they started… 😉 My only suggestion is to include more than one funnel, but we happed to have an extra one.
