Q: Is the stainless steel cleaner petroleum based or water based?

A: I believe it's water. It doesn't have a strong smell or smearing effect. We use it once a month and in between uses, a soft towel will buff the prints right out of it.

A: To apply the Weiman Stainless Steel Cleaner. Shake well before using. Spray directly onto surface. Wipe in the direction of the natural metal grain using a clean, soft cloth. Buff with a dry cloth to achieve a brilliant shine.

A: Weiman Stainless Steel Cleaner & Polish is intended for use on stainless steel appliances, and will protect stainless steel from rust and oxidation. However, it has not been tested on copper surfaces, so we would not recommend it for this use.

it’s super greasy and gets everywhere since it’s an aerosol. and you really have to buff it out. cleaning with a normal spray or water and a rag is easier and honestly looks the same.

TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH NOT IMPRESSED. This does not clean. What i reccomend is clean with a disinfectant wipe than use this and that keeps applicance shiney .

Item is damaged and unavailable to report an issue via the app. Incorrect to have a curbside pick up, with a target employee providing damaged products. Target - claim it to your vendor, don’t burden your customer.

I had used the trigger spray version of this for years, and that worked wonderfully. One day my Target stopped carrying it, and it wasn’t available anywhere nearby either. I tried this one instead, but it left horrible streaks and destroyed the surface of all of my stainless steel appliances. I don’t know why this version is bad, but I wanted to warn others of this as well.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment. The Stainless-Steel Cleaner& Polish are intended to clean, polish, and protect against fingerprints, watermarks, and grease. We recommend applying the product with a cloth in the direction of the grain then using a second soft dry cloth to buff the solution in to achieve a streak free shine.

Waste of money. It made my stainless steel slippery and slimy, feel dirty, and look streaky. After spraying it on my fridge, remnants of it got on the floor around it and made it super slippery. I ended up using a glass cleaner spray after I cleaned this off and my fridge has never looked better.

I set out to purchase a different, more environmentally friendly stainless steel cleaner but Target was out so I settled for this one. I'm not a neat freak at all about keeping my fridge door clean so I opted for the spray kind vs the cannister with wipes since I feared that they would dry out. This went on smooth and has kept my fridge door smudge free and shiny for the last few weeks!
