Not fast to install takes long
The 2 TB is true ,but it never works it seems that it never connects to my xbox series s and i thought it was supposed to connect once plugged in.

Worthless for gaming
This product is misleading. It will not run any series x/s optimized games at all. You can download them to it sure. But won't run unless you move back to the internal drive which is severely space limited as is. Completely a waste of money for a useless brick. Only buy if you want to store media

This device is easy to use I've known WD for decades. First review. There is nothing negative to write about this storage device. I will say I should have checked and read more closely the limitations from Xbox Series X. Xbox doesnt have or doesn't allow the storage of different media on the drive. Saved games, photos, videos. Xbox will only allow one type of use of the drive, unfortunately. I love WD, I will continue to buy their products.

Can store a lot of games for a good price
The X box series S I have only has 500gb (not all usable) storage. 1 tb is not that much either for today's games. This 4tb hard drive allows me to store a lot of games on it. You can't play the S/X games off the harddrive but it's easy to move games back and forth. I put all my old 360 and xbox1 games on the harddrive which you can play those games off of. Good performance!

Due to the limited storage capacity of my Xbox Series S the WD_Digital 5TB External Hard Drive. Allows me to never again have to uninstall a game just to play another one it’s a pain if. You down loading Madden24 or Call Of Duty with 5TB’s of space all of my favorite game’s have room. I my only downside is that you can’t play games that are optimized for Xbox Series X/S other than that it gets an easy 5 ⭐️ but since I can’t I’ll give it 4 ⭐️

It works and it doesn’t.
I got this hard drive for my Xbox series S/X. It will download any game without question but the problem lies in the fact that it cannot play any game that’s been optimized for X/S. You have to put those on your console hard drive. It will download them for sure, but they are unplayable sadly.

Worked great till it stopped working suddenly
Bought for my son for Christmas 2 years ago. After about 6 months he started having problems reading it. Then it just stopped working and couldn’t be read or even seen on ANY device ( other Xboxes, laptop, etc.). Luckily it was still under warranty but had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get a replacement. Finally, a replacement is supposed to be on its way. We’ll see …
