Wet Brush Original Detangler Hair Brush for Less Pain, Effort and Breakage

This is the only brush my 7 year old will let me use on her hair! I’ve purchased many others and this one is standing the test of time as her favorite. She has thick, wavy hair and it is a battle every day to get her to sit while I brush through it. But this brush helps make the battle one I can win!

best brush for detangling my daughters hair.

This has been my go to brush for years. I still own my original one. However, I have to purchase this in shorter and shorter time spans, as the caps pop off and the bristles fall out. There is a noticeable difference between the bristles on my original brush (which has not lost caps or bristles) and the bristles now. They are much stiffer now. It's not the stiffness that bothers me, though, it's the marked difference in quality. I have no choice but to switch to another brand. In the photos, the blue is my original, the white is one that was somewhere within last year, but was the better of 2, believe it or not, and the black is my current brush. The color makes it hard to see but there are numerous caps off and I can no longer use bc it scratches my scalp.

Absolute best brush for detangling my daughter’s curly hair. It doesn’t tug or hurt like others do and makes brushing so much easier.

The bristle base could be a bit stiffer. Hard to get down to scalp, even with fine hair. Maybe a plus for some thou.

I have curly hair and this works! I have to wet and brush my hair every day. My other brushes would never take out the tangles and pull out my hair. This Wet Brush goes through everything evenly and I don't have neck pain after lol

I have tangles, knots and maybe a birds nest here and there(not!) But that is what it feels like sometimes and I have tried everything from honey, mayonnaise, silk pillowcases, short hair, etec... I wash my hair first thing before work and then let it air dry as I drive to work. I then either brush it or wet comb it while sitting in the car there early. The wet comb was okay, but it pulls out too much hair when it's knotted. So I ordered this which removes the tangles very easily and keeps most of the hair. Does not snag the hair and I don't see as much shedding. I guess brushes work for my hair better than combs.

I like the brush... but I wish it could survivce at least 1 fall from the bathroom counter.

This is the only type of brush that makes brushing my thick, frizzy/curly hair seem easy. I use it in and out of the shower and it works wonders. The bristles will deform if you use it with a blow dryer though

I love this brush and can’t ever have enough of them or stop convincing friends and family to get one. The packaging and this color from the new frosted matte line is so cute and the handle of the brush is so soft! This brush causes 55% less breakage for healthier looking hair. It makes brushing out tangled hair so much easier and causes less pulling so it’s less painful. My nieces always get the most tangled hair after playing or swimming, etc. and this is my go to brush I used to work those knots right out with no complaints. I have found its best if you are working through really tangled hair to start brushing from the bottom and work your way to the top of the head. This is great for any other hair types and feels so good on my head when I brush my hair out after a shower. Like a massage! Everyone needs one! Affordable and a brush you will have forever.

The ball tips on the end of the bristles have almost all completely fell off & I’ve only had this brush about 2 months. No reason that should have happened. Now it hurts to use…
