They changed the material of the wipes. They are now completely unusable. They leave lint everywhere. Will not buy again until they change the material back.

I have been using these wipes for probably 20 years and now all of a sudden they cause lint to be all over your hands. The amount of lint residue makes them practically unusable at this point.

I have been an avid Wet Ones user for around 10 years now. They have always been my saving grace for cleaning my hands on the go. That was until sometime in the last year Wet Ones changed their wipe. It was once a soft, soapy, stretchy wet wipe - but now the cloth was changed to something that leaves a horrible linty residue all over my hands and the surfaces around me, and is also as stretchy and soapy as it used to be. Please I beg you guys to bring back your old wipes. I really cant stand cleaning my hands and they are just covered in lint!! Bring back the original please!!!!!! I miss them!!!

Please Bring Back the larger size canister and pouch!!! I used to buy bundles of the larger wipes for years but now I can’t buy the smaller ones because they are too small for my work!

Terrible quality leaves lint everywhere. I read a reply to another review that this issue, is due to a vendor change due to the wild fires, which I don't understand, bc my order is from mid of last year. Something is off' with the quality plus the justification provided, something is not adding up to the excuse given.

Whatever they changed is really bad now, the wipes leave lint residue EVERYWHERE! I just bought a multipack and now I have to return them. They used to be so much better!

As a result of a recent fire in our Wet Ones manufacturing plant, we made the decision to temporarily use a third-party vendor for our Wet Ones 20ct wipes that come in a pouch. This was to ensure that our products remained available to our consumers while we were repairing our facility from the fire. I am pleased to share that we have now addressed the issue, however you may still find a few units sold in the market with the other fabric. If you happen to purchase a pouch with the other fabric, please rest assured that the product is safe to use and just as effective in fighting bacteria and dirt. Everything we do is to provide consumers with clean hands while providing a good experience. We apologize that your experience was not up to our standards, so we are providing a coupon to make sure you remain happy with choosing Wet Ones. This issue only impacts our wipes that come in a 20 count pouch. If you are in a hurry, you can buy the wipes that come in the 40 count canisters, 24 count singles individually wrapped for your convenience and 28 count travel pack pouches that are great for on-the-go.

I am so sad! I have been using this product for years and the quality on these wipes has gone down! Lint everywhere it’s disturbing. Wanted to see if others also had the same issue and it seems so, by doing that I have purchased from different retailers and sad to disclose they are all the same. Why have they failed me *cries* I don’t even want to purchase anymore because they’re pricey and bad quality. I’ll come back when they get better

I have loved this product for years, but I no longer feel this way because they are full of lint! I often used these wipes for my hands and then would use them to wipe my steering wheel and dash board. However I can no longer stand to use them because they leave A LOT of lint on anything they touch! I have continued to waste my money by continuing to purchase more over the last two months hoping I would see improvement, but I will be purchasing mo more and the last few packages will be returned to the store.

Sorry to say but this product has been destroyed. I just bought another pack to test and the problem of these wipes leaving white lint over everything persists. I was a daily user of wet ones but they are now effectively useless. I still have several packs left from a multipack I purchased and those will be heading for the trash. Very sad that someone allowed this to happen.

Wet Ones is my number one hand wipe. And with someone with severe clinical OCD they help me to be able to live my life and feel clean, however, with this travel version they changed and completely ruined a good product! I’m glad I’m not the only person to notice. The minute you grab a wipe it’s already dry and there is lint EVERYWHERE! It looks like I stuck my hand in a bag of flour and then clapped my hands it’s ridiculous! I’m just glad that so far the wipes in the tube haven’t changed yet… if they do I’m absolutely done… FIX THESE WIPED AND BRING BACK THE OLD ONES, because these are GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have always kept a pack of Wet Ones wipes in my car. I opened a new package today and used one on my hands. I couldn't figure out where all of the lint was coming from! All over my shirt, my car seat, my seat belt, lint floating in the air! So disappointing. These are going in the trash.

You ruined one of my favorite products! Just opened a new pack and they’re dry, have an unpleasant texture and leave lint everywhere. Are they smaller, too? Maybe they seem smaller because they are so ineffective. It’s hard to tell. Who’s the bright executive who got a promotion for this money-saving change? You sacrificed quality and customer satisfaction for it. That was the last purchase of Wet Ones for me.

Highly disappointed, been using Wet Ones for years, absolutely recommended it to everyone. I’m known as the person who always has Wet Ones on them. My family literally bought them by the case, but they are unusable now after the material change. The new ones are basically dry right from opening and leave lint everywhere. It’s like they chose the scratchy toilet paper you find in public gas station bathrooms as their new wipe material. If this was a move to save money, you can bet it’s losing them money now. Going to have to look for a new brand of wipes.

relieved to see others are having the same issue with the travel wipes. they are now thicker and scratchy and dryer. i even ordered a second box in case it was a QC issue. second box is also thick. now useless. looking for another brand now after years of use.

I had emailed Wetones and they told me that due to a recent fire at their plant, they had to temporarily use a new vendor for the wipes, but they have now resumed production with the original material. However, the ones I just ordered from the website are still linty! Praying they will go back to the original material!

I can’t understand why they would change a nearly perfect product! I ALWAYS keep wet ones in my purse, car, and workplace. Now they are unusable! LINT EVERYWHERE! For those looking for an alternative, try Honest Sanitizing wipes. They are a bit drying but won’t leave the pile of lint on your hands or clothes like wet ones.
