About the Author

Lois Duncan (1934-2016) is best known for her psychological suspense novels. She received multiple awards from the Mystery Writers of America and was the 1991 recipient of the Young Adult Library Services Association's Margaret A. Edwards Award sponsored by School Library Journal. Many of her books have also been named ALA Best Books for Young Adults.
