what happened?
Been getting this for a long time and my last two orders were very bad. It literally tastes like playdoh. I tried several boxes and it appears everything with an expiration of 8/24 has the playdoh taste. I had some old boxes in the pantry and they were fine. I ended up throwing away 15 boxes! What a bummer this was an excellent pasta.

This pasta when boiled (for exactly as long as the box specified) was soft but tasted absolutely awful. It had a very bitter/metallic like aftertaste that made it inedible. I've had whole wheat pasta before but this was something else, it can't be eaten.

Go for brand name whole wheat pasta
We normally purchase a brand name whole wheat pasta for our family but decided to try this one as I like other Target brand food items. This one was disappointing. The texture did not hold up well, it went soft and crumbly. The flavor was okay. I would not recommend this product since I enjoy my pasta al dente and this one was too soft for my liking.

Too much like eating cardboard
We enjoy many other Target brand food items, so I wanted to give their whole grain pasta a try. We normally like and buy a different name brand, but we would like to save money. We did not care at all for this one though. The flavor and texture ruined the entire dish. We still ate it, but it really stands out and feels like we are eating cardboard. I really wanted to like this, especiallyas an alternative to a brand name, but we will not buy any more of the Good & Gather brand whole grain pasta and will just stick with the brand we already like for whole grain pastas.
