Wild Love - Rose Hill by Elsie Silver Paperback

My favorite book by this author so far!!

Such a good frenemies to lovers story. Elsie Silver is great at creating chemistry between her characters. Just spicy enough! Though, the most heart warming part is how these characters find a way to make an unexpected, unconventional family dynamic work. I also love how this series is interconnected with her others but can be read as a standalone.

This was such a fun, playful romance read!

Elsie’s writing is good. However, the should we be friends or should we be more trope got old real quick. No real plot going on other than that.

What an amazing writing! I am in love with this book. The story line, the banter, their love, its all amazing! 1000 percent recommend, a must read. Made me laugh so much, made me cry and all in between, top 10 of favorite books. Can not wait to read Wild Eyes.

honestly i didn’t think of was going to enjoy this book, but when i picked it up i couldn’t put it down. and finished it in 2 days. i will always recommend this book to my friends now when they tell me that they are in a reading slump

This is definitely one of my favorite books of all time. I couldn’t put it down and I loved the emotional aspects along with the romantic and business ones. Elsie is truly an incredible author!

This was a easy 4 star read for me, it was fast chapters and the chemistry between Rosalie and ford, OH MY GODDD🤭🤭 and I just loved how ford and his daughter were so cute together even though he wasn’t ready for it he still cared for her and it was just so pureeee, I would definitely reread!

I really enjoyed the authors writing style as well as the storyline of this book. I am looking forward to the next in the series. I would definitely recommend this story.

My summary: Ford Grant has recently moved back to Rose Hill, the small town he spent his summers at while growing up, and next door to his childhood best friend, West. The son of a famous guitarist, Ford went on to make his money on his own. Recently named the world’s hottest billionaire by Forbes, he is now settling in to what he hopes to be a quieter life as he sets up his own music studio. But nothing goes to plan when Ford is unexpectedly thrust into single-parenthood and then Rosie Belmont, West’s little sister and his secret crush from when he was a teenager, returns to town. Rosie is running from the big city after losing her job and from a lackluster love life. With an MBA and nothing to show for it except crushing student loan debt, work is hard to find in Rose Hill. When Rosie asks Ford to hire her as his assistant it is basically an offer he can’t refuse—and working together makes their feelings about each other finally unavoidable. My thoughts: I absolutely adore this book! This is one of those books that I almost instantly knew I would love—literally within the first three pages of it. Every character is just fantastic and I love the witty banter throughout. I literally laughed out loud at times. I basically just sat here reading and grinning the whole time. This is a warm and fuzzy feeling romance, with just enough spice sprinkled in. I really love the backstory of Ford and Rosie being childhood frenemies, with Rosie being the bratty little sister of Ford’s best friend, and Ford being a teenager hopelessly in love with her the entire time. His pining after her all these years has my heart. I also just adore Cora! This was my first ever book by Elsie Silver and I am so mad at myself for not reading anything by her sooner. I’ve since bought her entire Chestnut Springs series (thanks Target BOGO 50% off!) and I can’t wait to dive into it. It will have to tide me over until the next Rose Hill book is out in September.

I have read all of Elsie’s chestnut hills series, I honestly couldn’t stop reading it. So when I saw she had a new book with a similar small town country romance vibe I had to but it ASAP. On more of a spoiler note I was not big on the idea of Ford’s… daughter? I felt like it was a very big plot point for something that fell kinda flat for me in the end. I also really liked the idea of a brother’s best friend romance but execution was a bit off for me. It felt to me very much like a disconnect between characters and their reactions, but overall I did like the book even if the epilogue was meh.

I don’t know how it’s possible that Elsie Silver keeps outdoing herself, but this book was fantastic! We first met Ford as Willa’s older brother who she doesn’t understand and tends to get annoyed with. However, this book takes his character to a whole new level. I loved the different feel of this book and how well-rounded Ford and Rosie felt. Ford is a reclusive billionaire focused on his new record label and renovating a building on his property to house the studio. Rosie is recently unemployed, maybe single, and looking for a breath of fresh air. Oh, and did I mention Ford is her brother’s best friend who she thinks hated her growing up? Rosie and Ford are the perfect second chance, opposites attract couple to kick off your (early) summer reading!

Ford Grant has me going absolutely feral. Ford and Rosie are absolutely adorable their chemistry had me going insane, I was kicking and giggling my feet over their banter and their work emails are SO iconic. Ford is such a grumpy sarcastic cinnamon roll, there’s nothing better than a grumpy billionaire man who’s secretly a softy on the inside. We need to address the spice scenes in this book….Elise ATE and left NO crumbs with this one, the chemistry and the tension made the spicy scenes so good. This is the perfect book for you if you love small town romance, single dad, forced proximity, and secret pining.
