Not for aggressive chewers like the product says. Our dog was able to break off pieces in 5 minutes. When I emailed the company, they said that was normal wear and tear and to not worry they use all natural rubber.

We do not use harmful additives in our toys like binders or glue, only natural rubber and natural rope. Since dogs are biting into them, natural wear and tear is to be expected. Currently this is considered a part of regular wear and tear, and isn't a defect on our part.

Held up well
Bought this about 8 months ago for our 4 yr old malinois/black both curr mix and he loves it. We don't use it with treats or anything, though. Aside from a chew toy, we use it a lot when playing catch with him. Based on others' reviews, I guess I'm in the minority, but we love it. It has lasted longer than any of the Nylabone or Kong toys I've bought.

Really, really bad for chewers
This is probably the worst dog toy I've ever gotten. I have a 15 pound chihuahua and literally within five minutes she had destroyed half of it. Unless you have a dog that has a very gentle bite (maybe one with no teeth lol) DO NOT BUY THIS. NOT WORTH IT EVEN ON SALE.

dog will eat small pieces
My 8 month old puppy liked this but she was eating the pieces that she chewed off. I’m not sure if that’s safe and it makes a mess. Little pieces all over the carpet.

Great fun, but low quality
My dogs had a ton of fun with this toy — but for not even 5 minutes! The shape is great and conducive to paw play as advertised, but initial light chewing left deep teeth marks and bits were falling off within minutes. Would not recommend unless your dog only mouths toys and does zero chewing whatsoever.

Falls apart quickly
Gave this to my dog for christmas and he was getting chunks of rubber off of it within an hour. Do not get this for your dog as a chew toy(even though it states thats what it is for).

Dissapointed
I got the large one for my friends dog who loves to chew. This toy didn’t last long at all and he ended up eating some of the toy which made him sick. Pet parents, please do NOT buy this toy if your dog is even a moderate chewer. Stick with Kong

THEY ONLY LASTED A DAY. My pup devoured both ends of the bolt in a few hours. And she's not even a super chewer. I am so mad I spent that much money on these things. Sticking to Kong.

I bought this in store and obviously should have checked the reviews first. This pic is ten minutes after giving it to my 18 pound Boston Terrier! Pieces are already coming off. Obviously not for the power chewer. We will go back to our usual brand.
