Q: I just purchased this lovely garden stake. The instructions are not clear on how to replace the rechargeable battery. Please be more specific how to access the battery compartment.

A: Hello CatLady, thank you for your question! The top portion with view ports should twist and unlock from the middle portion and the base do the same. This should expose the battery compartment for replacement. Thank you!
