How to measure

  • Bust

    Measure across the fullest part of your bust, keeping tape measure level.

  • Torso

    Run tape measure from the top of your shoulder,between your legs & up again back to where you started.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortably loose, level line around that point.

  • Hip

    Stand with your feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of your hips & Seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

The prettiest nightgown I've owned!

My apologies though - I genuinely thought this was a nightgown when I picked it up. I thought it was odd that it was hanging opposite a party dress, but didn't go further than that. Needless to say, I'm wearing this while laying in my bed right now lol. It is so comfortable and fits so nicely. I'm 5'5", 180, 38/40c/d, 35waist, 44hips. I bought an XL. It doesn't droop in the back, so I'm not concerned that my back roll is showing. It doesn't show my underwear line either. It falls right between my ankle and knee. Very elegant for a nightgown!! If I'd known this was an actual dress gown, I probably would've tried to size down to a large and worn shapewear under it, but the bust may have ended up being too tight with a large.

at 76 years old, I will rock it despite its flaws

This did not quite give me the look I was hoping for...the fabric is awesome, soft and thick and lined, so that it feels expensive but at 195lbs and full busted the largest size was kind of shapeless yet I think if I went down one size it would be too tight. Putting a belt with it will help but I think it should have had some darts or something to give it a less straight look. I will enjoy wearing this around the house but not sure about anywhere else. Cute idea but actually like the old style satin slip dress style better.

Hi! OBSESSED. I saw this online and had a few extra minutes to run by and check it out, I didnt think I was going to like it when I saw it in person but decided to try it on anyways. IT IS SO SOFT it has a slip lining (I think is what its called) and its so soft. I never write reviews, but it might be my new favorite dress? True to size I often have to size up at target in dresses like this and a medium was very true to size for me. Can't wait to dress it up and down!

Best slip dress ever!

I know it's a little pricey for target, but it FEELS expensive. I've never found a slip dress that was not only fully lined, but also has an a-line cut, so it isn't slinky and thin-feeling like most slip dresses that require you to wear smoothing shape wear underneath etc. It's so soft and comfortable, it fits amazingly. I'd say it's definitely true to size, maybe even a tad bit big if you're in between sizes.

Versatile easy to style slip dress that is fully lined. Nice soft satin fabric, flows and frames all your curves beautifully. I style with ankle books, leather jacket, wide black belt to give it a moto classy look. Target get more of this style dress in other colors.
