Q: does this probiotic cause diarrhea? cuz I am having diarrhea from my antibiotic and I would like to take this to help with that. but wanted to make sure this probiotic doesn't cause extra diarrhea? thanks very much

A: Probiotics treat diahhrea. probiotics combined with electrolytes. i prefer both in powder form so that i could mix it with water.

So taking probiotics at least 30 minutes before a meal will reduce the time it takes for the good bacteria to get to your gut. Real rating is a 0! I was taking this for 2 weeks and it gave me a yeast infection and UTI both at the same time. I’ve never had a UTI until I switched to these. Normally I take The O positive brand and once I made the switch to these i noticed a negative effect. I have no health issues btw but I’d definitely do NOT recommend buying these.

I have been taking this brand for over a year now. The last 6 weeks I have experienced extreme bloating, gas, belching, feminine odor and constipation. I switched to a different brand recently and my symptoms are subsiding. I don’t know if they changed the formula, it’s no longer working for me.

Let me start by saying, I LOVE all of Target’s Up&Up brand items. It has been a life saver getting things at a more affordable price at practically the same quality. However, this particular product that is said to be similar to Garden of Life probiotics was a little different. After only 5 days of taking this product, I experienced abdominal pain, cramps, and constipation. I stopped two days ago and am still experiencing these symptoms. However, everyone responds differently and it may still work for you. It’s definitely a good price deal in comparison to others, it just didn’t work for me.

Take with Caution
I purchased these because they were out of the Garden of Life brand and decided to try them. They were the same strains of probiotics so I felt I wasn't compromising anything. I also have been very satisfied with any up&up product that I've purchased before. This was not it though. I started feeling a lot of gas, bloating and visiting the bathroom a little too frequently. I figured I had to power through it to get my tummy adjusted to it for a few more days, but it got worse. I've taken probiotics for years and think these threw off my flora again and I'm not sure how to reset it. I'm freaking out. There are mixed reviews but I think if you still feel bad after 4-5 days, just stop, your tummy might simply not adjust to it and it will give you hell if you keep taking them. I'm currently in a lot of pain and have regrets.
