Softer than I was expecting, these socks are a pleasant surprise. They're stretchy enough to fit my calves pretty well and stay up but soft enough that they don't cut into my leg. So far they've held up in the wash. I don't think I'll get more than a year or so out of them but they're great for the price.

These are a "wear once or twice for a special occasion, then toss because they're full of holes" type of sock, unfortunately. Poor quality, wouldn't recommend because they'll just end up in a landfill. Also, the stripes don't evenly line up where they meet, if that's something that will bother you.

Cheap fabric, rips easy
I wish that Target would stop using fast fashion tactics to produce their clothing. These socks are a prime example of cheaply made goods that are disposable after 1 or 2 washes. I bought these socks to wear under a boot that is protecting my ankle while it heals from surgery. Sadly, they started falling apart after the first wash. The fabric tears easily, creating runs that I will have to mend by hand sewing. How about you charge $5-6 for a pair of socks that are well made, instead of $3 on a terribly made sock that will sit in a landfill forever?
