A: I have not had that issue - I always wear socks with them and my feet are snug inside with no sliding.

A: I got these to be slippers inside of the house but the bottoms of the shoes seem to be strong enough to where outside. They do look similar to the slippers of more expensive brands but are at a much more affordable price!
