Women's Crewneck Pullover Heritage Novelty Sweater - Wild Fable™

I was really glad to see a not pastel sweater and not striped pattern. It’s adorable! It’s made to look like wool but unfortunately is not. It’s quite large too but I’m not sure how it’ll hold in size after washing. It might shrink but given it’s not natural materials, probably not. I hope Target does more of these styles but in higher quality materials soon.

First of all, how rich are all of you that $35 for a sweater is considered "affordable" to you? If I had nothing to compare this sweater to, then yes, I'd rave on and on about how it's really nice. However, I have sweaters from Target like this that are reaching 10-12 years old and they are still in good condition. Compared to these old sweaters, you can tell there is a decline in quality with this new one. I like this sweater, but like others said, it may benefit you greatly to try it on in store, which is what I did. I'm tall, so when people say something is "oversized," it doesn't always mean it'll be oversized on me. While the fit is nice on me, it's not worth $35, so I'm not even going to take the tag off nor am I going to wear it yet. *If* it goes on sale, I'm going to do the Holiday Price Match that Target has going on. However, if it looks like it won't go on sale, then I'm just going to return it. Literally for the same price, I got 2 sweaters at Old Navy -- yes, they were plain, but they are appropriate enough to wear both at home and work, whereas I can only wear this sweater outside of work only. I'd love to have this sweater, but I can't justify it for $35 -- not in this economy.

I bought a size small sight unseen and it looks to be at least a size large in person. It’s absolutely huge! It’s so cute so I’ll try for a smaller size but I’m really disappointed!

It’s a cute design and affordable. The material does feel itchy though, hoping it’ll go away after a wash. Wearing a tank underneath could help. I’m normally a small/medium but got an xs and it’s still roomy and long enough. I could have gone with a small though

Adorable sweater but HUGE. I’m usually a small & XXS was still a bit roomy on me. It’s also a bit scratchy, but I’ll wear a tank or t-shirt underneath.

I felt the material was a little uncomfortable but they look so cute and I ended up getting both colors! The lighter color looks amazing! Definitely recommend at least one for the holiday season!

Sweater reeks of marijuana and cigarettes. Much too large also. Size down 2 sizes or more.

Adorable but hugely oversized, like a size and a half in the plus sizes. Frustrating because now that mine has arrived they are all sold out and I cannot size down. :(. Maybe stalk your local stores to see if the inevitably returned ones show up there.

I think this sweater runs slightly larger than average. I'm 5'3" and 100 lbs, and the small (my usual size) fits oversized on me. It’s very comfortable, though the material can leave a few fuzzies on your clothes depending on the fabric. It also contains a small percentage of wool, which usually irritates my nose, but I haven’t had any issues with this one. Overall, it’s the perfect dupe for the Ralph Lauren sweaters at a fraction of the cost! I would definitely recommend it.

Love this sweater!! I didn’t find it to be itchy at all. I’m not quite sure if it’s worth the price which is why I deducted one star. Getting it on sale would be worth it! Definitely runs a bit big but I like that so I got my regular size.

Such a charming design! It instantly made me think of those overpriced Ralph Lauren bear sweaters. A few notes: this is 100% oversized in design, but not in a flattering way, in my humble opinion. I'm usually a medium but that size just made me look bigger than I actually am due to the underarm area being too roomy and an overall sack-like shape that just made me look a sloppy and round. I sized down to a small, which I normally don't fit into and boom--problem solved! I highly recommend trying this in in the store to find your perfect fit. Also, some of the eyes look like the have little x's on them (prob because of the way it's stitched?), so you might want to pick from the best of the bunch. Can't wait wear this throughout the holidays! I'm thinking with a plaid skirt and jeans : )

This is a cute sweater but it’s miles too big. The material is not super comfortable either. Its machine wash cold and lay flat to dry-no dryer-which is my preference.

If you’re looking for an oversized fit - this is it. I’m usually between a small/medium, I’m a 36C and 145lbs. I got a small and it’s super roomy! I probably could’ve gone down to an XS for a more fitted look. I would suggest an undershirt when wearing. As mentioned, the sweater is a bit itchy. I’m attaching a pic of the materials/fibers in this sweater. But it’s the cutest sweater! I’m definitely keeping. Just debating on swapping for a smaller size.

Huge! purchased Small when I normwear medium and it was huge. I will return. cute sweater though.

I really liked the look and thought it would look so cute with jeans or leggings, but it gets the leggings all hairy and pills badly. Also very uncomfortable to wear (itchy) would not recommend buying without feeling and seeing the sweater in person.
